@imwatchuvideo Well, it's too simplistic to say that the Japanese are only afraid of giant moths and lizards. Don't forget that Gamera is a giant turtle (although he became a good guy), Rodan is a giant pterodactyl, Ghidrah is a giant sort of dragon-thing with 3 heads, etc. It's not just Godzilla and Mothra that they've had to worry about.

@dany080 Actually, at the very end of the video an older guy says, "this is no laughing matter". But it's natural in Japan to calm each other by putting on a facade of smiling or laughing. Much more effective at maintaining order and calm than screaming and panicking and running in circles.
