if people think rap isn't poetry then you need to take the class intro to literature where you'll learn the forms of poetry. rap just uses more rhyming with metaphors and similes. some rappers combine imagery, with personification and other techniques #runtelldat

Integrity is why you'll never see Chuck D, KRS-ONE or Talib Kweli shilling for the man and why Common, Will I Am and Lil Jon have no integrity but plenty of money and the occasional invite to the White House.

@disrxt I would think it an honour to play in the white house, but i agree there is a line to draw. but i feel that integrity should be in the music like odd future, they have 100% creative control when i think of selling out i think of labels takin over their creative control aka. lupe fiasco debacle with atlantic records.
