  • Nice organ, but looks a bit naked, without it's full facade.

  • Thats on my magazine

  • Where is this wonderful band or fairground organ located? I read in a private collection. A very interesting sounding instrument! Thank you.

  • It's in England.

  • This is one of the most original Hooghuys organs in existence, I believe, and yes it is a great-sounding instrument.

This is a "dance organ" not a fair or band organ. It is more softly voiced and has different organ voices than its similar brethren. Hooghuys also made fairground organs, however.

Other famous dance organ makers include Mortier, Decap, and Bursens.

  • With the facade cut down, it looks like it could fit inside a cafe.

  • It would be to loud.

  • Maybe, Perhaps the same volume of a Dyunn[Pardon my spelling] Cafe Organ.

  • What may I ask is the story of this Dance Organ Sir?

  • I saw it in a private collection, don't really know too much about the history, but it's been there for quite some time.

  • Thank you very much Sir.

  • Ah ... fantastic organ, with a great, unique repertoire!!!

The arrangement was made by Marc Hooghuys.

  • 0:00 Le Merle Blanc.

  • le rêve passe great version for organ Hooghuys

  • Great organ! More Pleas!!! ;)
