will it be hard for me to learn British accent after i learn American?

my native language is Russian... but my English accent has nothing to do with Russian.. :/... I'm in an american school.. watch american movies in english and so on... i want to learn both british and american.... and already have started with the american accent...

@acolangeli yes, but English is so useful and beautiful, you're lucky to know it well :)) italian is not difficult to learn... you have to forget the way u say letter R and u got it xD

Even though I am American, I like the way how you avoid the " O-m-G, Valley Girl " accent just like what Ids8714 said. Most countries think that American accents are just like it on TV. But it really isn't ! Your teaching them the correct way and I respect that, God bless you Lisa !

This stuff is good, as it avoids the all too common valley girl speak that is waaayyy over represented in the media. Ironically, probably the best media representation of U.S. speech is Hugh Laurie's "House" accent. Many Americans actually have no idea he is a Brit.
