  • Excellent, thank you.

  • Yahushua (Jesus) is our Creator -- the three are one and all were present at creation -- Elohim is a plural I am told in Genesis 1:1 but more than that take a look at John 1:1-10 knowing that the Word is Jesus who became flesh and dwelt among us as we know. 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

  • Good acting except the part where he credited Yahushua as our Creator. I don't get it. I though all Messianic new YHWH ELohim created the heavens and the earth.

  • @LaurieJo42 ...Yahshua is the "WORD of Yehovah." He has always been the WORD of Yehovah. Elohim (YHVH) "willed" creation, and Yahshua spoke everything into existence.

Joh_5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

  • The New Covenant is made with Israel and Judah. See the gentiles have been grafted in to Israel. You see, because of my faith in the Messiah I have been grafted in and am one of the children of Israel. Paul said we were once alienated from Israel but now are apart of Israel by the blood of the Messiah. When I say Torah I mean the commandments, all of them. The first century kept dietary, the feast days, all that. The Torah is instruction, but the whole bible is the Torah to me.

  • ...it's tiem to leave the Matrix and smell the Torah !!!

  • This was most touching. I laughed, I cried and it made me think. I sent it to all on my e-mail list and urged them to watch. Thank you Wildbranch Ministries and Brad Scott for this amazing program. Shalom,

  • I can't thank you enough for posting this. It has blessed my heart beyond measure. I pray for brad everyday. Yahweh's blessing on you both.

  • Mat 5:17 "Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete.

Mat 5:18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud ( י ) or a stroke will pass from the Torah — not until everything that must happen has happened.

  • Mat 5:19 So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Mat 5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness is far greater than that of the Torah-teachers and P'rushim, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven!

  • If you say that Mosaic Law is no longer valid...then you call God & His Son liars...Jesus is our example & He kept the Mosaic Law perfectly...WWJD? God gave the law to Moses for His chosen people the decendants of Abraham....not just those from the tribe of Judah (our brothers) but for all the tribes including the strangers that joined them....for ALL generations...are you one of His chosen?? Also, Jesus said in Matt. 5:17-20 ....

  • The problem is wufpackjack the scriptural counter arguments you talk about are not actually scriptural they are man made teaching that have been carried down through the centuries from men who were anti-Semitic and developed there own religion and I emphasize Religion because it is not God's word. It has been twisted and misrepresented for hundreds of years.

Time to have a passion for truth, study to show yourself approved.

    In God's love

    Shalom

  • I didn't find the argument that New Covenant believers are to keep the Old Covenant at all convincing (especially given the Scriptural counter arguments), but you make several other great points (like the coming restoration of Israel and church's sins). What a delightful presentation!

The book "The Pentateuch as Narrative" by Dr. John Sailhamer does an excellent job of illustrating the purpose of the Mosaic Law - to be a school master to lead to Messiah.

    Blessings in Messiah brothers!

  • @wufpackjack The jews who do not accept the Messiah even believe in the New Covenant. It is written in Jeremiah 31. See the New Covenant is not here yet. The 2 houses have to come together and no long will people teach others about God because they will all know him from the least to the greatest. Plus the torah will be written in our hearts. Now we know this will happen at the Messiah's second coming. Jesus kept the torah, Paul kept the torah. It is our instruction. It is the marriage contract.

  • @jdb0905 I agree the new covenant was made to Israel and they will one day receive it. But in the mean time the Gentile elect have been grafted into it (Rom 11). What precisely do you mean by "kept the torah"? The Torah is a book that CONTAINS the Mosaic law covenant, it is not the law covenant itself. The Torah contains the promise of the prophet to come (Deu 18, Gen 49), the new covenant heart (Deu 30:6), etc. Or by "torah" do you just mean God's instructions in general?

  • Well that was fabulous - Sooooo ENJOYABLE !!!!!

    Thank You and God Bless

    Robert.
