Positives: The choir sounds good, the musicians are great, and lead singer can sing.

Negatives: The leader's voice is too powerful for that song. And that particular song honestly does not need a soloist! The message and words speaks volumes itself. I really had to listen carefully in order to hear the choir.

Overall, it was OKAY....lose the leader. Just keep GOD first and let Him lead you Man of God!

as a soloist...sometimes to get the deliverance that u need u have to sing it just like u feel it...when that is done, not only u benefit, but others also....why because the Spirit of God takes over and the message, intent and purpose of the occasion are all met

the soloist has a very strong instrument...to the point/fact that he actually over-powered the entire ensemble.... that's powerful...i wasnt able to appreciate the message as it was intended because his voice was extremely stronger than the group..and i was unable to interpret the message coming across...but i am to assume that the audience were able to understand the message and its' intent...May GOD continue to bless the group......

omg, I'm so embarassed. I was reading the comments and somebody said that the lead singer was kinda cute. I was like, now what dummy would say such a thing and I looked and found that it was me!! lol, I didn't realize that I had seen this vid before and commented on it. Even more interesting, I think this is the guy that I played with and his church musicians at St. Paul AME for their pasor's anniversary dinner or something. If it's indeed him, I think he plays bass as well. Small world, huh?

Being a Min of Music over the Phoenix chapter of the GMWA as well as my Church, this is BIG problem with lead vocalists, Please Lead Vocalists, DONT OVER SING!!! and take the focus off of the power and words of the song! this choir is awesome, but the lead vocalist is doing WAY TOO MUCH???, Be a smart singer and know how to color the song gently with adlib's, riffin and runnin! As a lead singer the focus should not be on you!!! but the lyrics and GOD. The anointing should be your main goal!
