I've been a Zeppelin fan -- and huge Page fan -- since the age of 10. I'm 39 now, and this recording actually managed to take my love of the band to a whole new level. "I'm Going Down"!
"I'm Goin' Down' was a song by Freddie King. It was covered by Jeff Beck and then later gained some notoriety after Stevie Ray Vaughan's death. There was little live footage of Stevie ray and often footage of him and Beck performing it together would be shown of them doing this song.
Led Zeppelin é a essência dos anos 70. Depois dos Beatles e juntamente com o The Who, foi o maior estímulo artistico e musical que a humanidade já teve.
@thenobs123 we'll he did sprain it this tour in LA I think but this tour imop was his best all around playing, fast , furious, tone and pagey heroin licks on cocaine. I think this tour b/c it was so grueling got them into the harder drugs. Lack of rest (plant losing his voice), pagey spraining his finger. So when they hit the stage in '75 2 years pass but they kept partying as if there was no break and took it to a new level. I still like '75 Page for the mst part bt they slipped after '73
what most people call "boogie chillun" when performed by led zeppelin (during one of their long songs) is actually a block of lyrics from boogie chillun with a song of their own called boogie mama played along with it.
A BELTER PEPPER! Y not upload the Heartbreaker 12.2.75 for the folks where the boys slip into Thats alrite mama? Another great impromptu rock&roll moment.
well this is a new soundbaord...remasterd and everything...the new generations of bootlegts are very good now, stuff like "Southampton University" were new soundboards that were just found...
pepper i know u get a lot of request for songs and stuff...but TSRTS concert songs like black dog, dazed and confused and whole lotta love need a lot of clarification for those who haven't heard the "true" unedited versions...if u could post tbose that would be unspeakable...your zep selection is awesome...its all i listen to...there is plenty i've to discover...please keep posting..."we are all listening"...later
What I would like to see is the footage of the band playing during the fantasy sequences in TSRTS, but I have heard that alot of the video was missing from those shows, If possible id like to see what Page looked like during his entire bow solo, that would be very cool.
well as you can see i specialize in Led Zeppelin Audio, sp i dont have much video, the only vid i have is the entire second day of Knebworth, so you asking the wrong guy...maybe shadowman6901 has it?
Lots of TSRTS is edited out, just take Moby Dick for example- recorded to be 32 mins on the last night, on the film it is only about 10 mins and the cd about 15 mins. Just look at "the first cuts" by joe massot- there is still several light years of tape WB are sitting on from that tour, I would love to see an official outtakes DVD but it would be time consuming and be rediculously long (possibly 9hrs to include all 3 nights original tapes)
running on all cylinders.

Maybe they could combine all three nights and edit them together when needed and they could even call it The Song Remains The Same.
