  • Wizball

  • What is the name of the game at: 3:58 ?

  • Pirates was the shit! I played that game to death on the MS-DOS!

  • Nice collection! I know most of the games and played it many years ago. Wizball was really cool. They don't create such new game ideas very often any more nowadays. But there are some exceptions from the usual 3D games with no game concept, like World Of Goo.

  • 2:02 fuck yeah, kick the shit out of each other guys

  • And I think Turrican was THE best animated game for C64. I even played it through a few times ^^

    Compare the videos.

  • I really need the name of the FIRST game I ever played on my c64 in 1989, something with "time" in name if I remember well. A shooter/platformer , side scrolling , each level took place in a different era , like WW2 , Space ,even prohibition era or something etc. Anyone remembers that ?

It would be so great to play that again , bring childhood memories back :)

  • @Zaragoza2006 Time Pilot

  • @Zaragoza2006 Time Pilot - try CCS64 and download the game, I have it, it's good, but you need a joystick...

  • Aahhh the memories. Can anyone recall what game was the guy on a wheel, and he had to save the princess, jump over the turtles, and go up the hill??? Or perhaps that was a dream?

  • @dakerdeeze It was not. Based on that cartoon...Cant recall the name thou :(

  • @dakerdeeze

It might be "BC Quest for tires"

  • Some of these were simply AMAZING for their time and should be held up there for sure!

  • ohh archon!! i played a lot of times in my childhood with my friends and i had a lot of good days with laughs thanks to that game.

  • What game is at 0:10? What is the game from 0:52 - 1:00? And what about the game at 3:58? Looks like so much fun! I want a C64!

  • @Andytheminstrel 0.10 = Armalyte, 0.52 = Delta (also take a look at lions of the universe, agentX2, Zynaps, Starforce Nova, Katakis, Sidewinder, Parallax and Catalypse = good shmups). 3.58 = Wizball

  • @nicholasthetaylor I Bet you can't guess what that game's name at the beginning of the video.

  • @AlienX99999 You're absolutely right. I haven't the faintest idea. I'd guess that it's called Wizard Chess, but that's a wild stab in the dark XD

  • Comment removed

  • @nicholasthetaylor Almost. Its Called Archon: The Light And The Dark

  • Einfach nur geil, damit habe ich im Jahr 1992 angefangen. Hatte einen Commodore 128 D gehabt. Was wurde da noch kopiert, gezockt und rumgeballert. Den konnte man auch noch am Fernseher anschließen ;)

  • OK I just remembered it . It was Raid Over Bungeling Bay . Probably one of the best Commodore 64 games of it's time.

  • I had a great game for the Commodore 64. I forgot the name of it. Basically , you are the pilot of an attack helicopter. In each round, you must complete your given primary objectives and if you choose to do so , the secondary objectives. The carrier which your helicopter is based off is subject to attack when your away on missions. Thus you must routinely return for fuel and ammo and protection. If this sounds familiar, please offer your comments and name of this game. Thanks

  • @P0V3RTY09 one of my fav games

  • @P0V3RTY09 I think it's called "Choplifter" and you had to run Sorties. Someone posted it on YouTube, do a search.

  • @rusty1491 Actually , it was "Raid Over Bungling Bay". But thank you for your suggestion. I think I remember playing Choplifter.

  • I'm trying to find this one Commodore 64 game. I remember my dad and brother playing it when I was about 4 years old. All I remember about it was that when you died you woke up in this house, I remember you had to find tools to cut bushes so you can get to certain places, you climbed latters to get to some places. I remember a cave with an old man or woman in it. If some one can identify this game please please please let me know! Thank you!

  • I remember Blue Max.. And Raid Over Moscow. Another cool flying game Fort Apocalypse! And lets not forger Uridium. a game I got caught stealing once.. At Sears.

I miss those old games.... Piracy is always safer than shop lifting..

  • last ninja was one of the best games of c64

I dump the the 65XE to the trash:) Now if the C=64 had two button joypad like the NES and SEGA MASTER SYSTEM I would dump them in the trash too:)

    Maldito mundial!

  • Oooohhhh Paradroid. The stuff of legend. I had over 150 games for the C64 and most of what you showed I don't recognise, just goes to show how big it actually was. I never did figure out why so many people wanted sinclair spectrums.

  • Jumpman was SOOOOOOO awesome (for the day)

  • It's amazing how the programmers back then could make the great games with great sound using only a couple dozen kilobytes to work with. If we were to program with that efficiency today maybe we wouldn't need 3 discs to hold games like Final Fantasy 14.

  • No Beach Head???!

  • what was the one at 3:39?

  • I am 30 years old now, and up to this day I never realized the voice in Impossible Mission was saying "another visitor". As a kid all I could make of it was "Hanavavi Vita, Stay a while...Stay forever!", which makes absolutely no sense. Nice to finally get some closure.
