One of those early-70s songs she had out on RCA. I was fortunate enough to play it on the radio when it was new - along with "You and Your Sweet Love," "I Never Once Stopped Loving You," "Just One Time" and her dynamite recording of "Louisiana Man." What a talent!
I don't think it's possible to get any better than this !! She's a one of a kind .Pure country, Beautiful and just keeps getting better and more beautiful as the years go by!God continue to bless her even more now that she has finally found True true love and someone who loves her just for what she is!
In 1976 I went to the Wembley Country Music Festival and in the morning Connie was rehersing her act, unknown to Connie I went into the deserted concert hall and listened to her sing, she was fantastic and that special memory will live with me all my life.Connie is a lovely person and beautiful singer. What great days they were when country was country.
I really LOVE Connie Smith Music. She was begining to become popular in teh 1960s, when I was about 8 years old. I have since re-discovered her from all of these great videos posted here.
She has a beautil voice, great looks, class and style. She has much more class and dignity than some of the young female "country" singers of today.
Amazing! Connie sounds just as good as her record of this great song and the band is good too, although I really do miss the fiddle from the original recording.
You know, it's amazing to Me that Connie (along with Dolly Parton) are among the only two i can think of off the top of my head of the classic performers we still have with us, who haven't lost an ounce of their "gift".
Sounds as good as the day is was first recorded. thanks for posting : )
Definitely one of the best gal singers in the country field PERIOD! She is beautiful to look at, and she is also a beautiful Christian lady. FIVE STARS!

Is it possible to upload this at 320p?
The audio is just not that good at 240p.
This is sush a great song. Marty's band is much better than the original recording. Great backup sound from the Strat.

The "girl singer" that sings "like all the other girl singers wish they could". As Eddie Stubbs would say... "Are there any questions?"
