no oboe? :( i was hoping to hear oboe. i do think the tempo was a bit fast in the first and second movement. at least to me. in the second i thought it was supposed to be really slow... but okay everyone is different. its good.

Either the first movement is too fast, or my director's tempo is too slow. I think it's the second one.

I absolutely love this piece. My band director let me help her choose which songs we are going to play for UIL and ths is one I chose. :) It's amazing!

Second movement is BEAST!!! I'm playing this at my school and I play tuba. I'm pretty sure we're louder than everybody else, since we have two people that can blast or play super loud on command.

Its a good song and played ok but unfortunately there are many mistakes in it. In the second movement the trumpets were very nice and smooth and in the third movement a couple trumpets butchered the sound and the saxophones and clarinets where not in tune. There are also several sections in which the timeing was off. Shame the french horn stutters in the first movement.

Ilike the tempo for the first movement it gives the song the sort of upbeat and free feeling that it is supposed to have!!!!! For example the name of the first movement is: le Bon vent or in English: the good wind

our band is almost done cleaning this up but i dont think we will be playing the first movement quite that fast....and we do have an oboe player and she plays  the solo wonderfully and blah blah blah

the 2nd and 3rd movements in this recording were beautiful, but the 1st one was a bit too fast and off balance

aaah! i liked it, but in the first movement, it was a little fast, and the solos were rushed... and the oboe solos don't sound as nice on clarinet.... but very very nice!!! i love the 2nd movement, it's my favorite.

get an oboe player! the solos just don't sound right on clarinet, bass clarinets missed their moment in movement 2, and movement 1 was a little rushed, and i don't hear the piccolo at the end of movement 1,

We are playing this in 2 weeks for UIL. The balance is way better than ours (mostly cuz I play too lound(tuba)), but the tempo is a little off in 1st and 2nd. But you guys were awesome, especially at the beginning of the 3rd movement with the 16th note portion. All in all I would give it a high 2 or low 1.

your bass section is a little quiet but i think it sounds quite nice and the 1 bar thats like really important for the bass clarinets in the second movement..the 4ths last bar is a little too fast but other then that it sounds good :)

I'm sorry, why don't u put up ur version since u think this one is soo bad and u obviously think ur band is soooo much better. of course, it really doesn't matter who's band is better since thats really not what music is about, now is it?
