Schilke makes mouthpieces in all sizes. Just because it's a Schilke doesn't mean it's a 13a4a. It could be a 17 which is around a 3C or even a 19 which around a 1C. I don't get why everyone sees a Schilke and automatically assumes it's a lead piece.

There really isn't such a thing as "cheater" mouthpieces if you ask me. A mouthpiece won't really extend your range, only the make the range you already have easier to use. Making something easier isn't necessarily cheating is it?

They are using 3C's, 7C's, and 10 1/2C's. (Notice I said C's) I guess i'd know since i run their sectionals. I usually spot those using "JETS" or shallow cups based on their tones....tend to be sharper and projection is lost.
