2.5 a2 is fairly stable already, i recommend switching, or is that the original problem? It looks a lot different. The tabs are sometimes in a weird order if you you hold down MMB and drag in the buttons windows, you sometimes find buttons that got moved for whatever reason. Other than that try pressing F6
