I just saw the movie - Meryl is totally annoying - like hearing fingers down a blackboard. Julia's voice is lower and much less annoying. It is a shame, as Julia is such an inspiration.

Julia Child is ssoooooooo GREAT!!!! I love how she talks and I love how her face is SOOO cute :) and by the way her cooking is awesome.

Julia child is an amazing woman. She brought french cuisine to the housewife (term used in the 60's when the primary homechef was the woman). I am a guy, and quite honestly I have almost every book this woman wrote, and have watched all her shows. She's an amazing influence for all genders, for all lifestyles. She let america know that french cooking isn't hoy-paloy, but easy cooking for everyone.

Absolutely! I love how she is so pure and has so much passion for something she loves. :) I remembering watching her shows when I was little b/c my mom watched her all the time.

yes, there is, it is in cambridge MA. thet took her actually kitchen to her cambridge house that she left to a college and put it in the musuem. I haven't gone but I watched the movie yesterday and they had a piece on it:)
