  • Sounds great!

  • Hippo, I believe the serious line of Taylors begin with the 300 Series, so yes I believe it is well worth it. My 314ce is my work horse. It takes a beating playing 2-3 gigs every week etc. I also have 3 other Taylors, a Nylon NS34, 12 String 354ce and my old 1988 Taylor 610 Dreadnought, which I had Taylor refurbish and put the ES pickup system into it. But the 314 gets most of the work.

  • Pardon me asking, but what is that thing clipped-on the guitar's head , in line to it's neck, stretching outwards ? I've also seen this on electric guitars ...

  • @ArianeQube

The silver object at the end of my guitar is called a Capo.

    [paulvenkman is my new account]

  • @paulvenkman oh, didn't look at it right, you rest your capo on the head of the guitar when you don't use it? :D cool

  • I just bought one and I love it! I traded in my Taylor 110 which I loved as well, but it had too bold of a sound for what I needed it for. This one is perfect!

  • Had mine 10 years now and the sound and look better with time ! Never gonna part with her !! Peace Ye`all !!

  • Really nice sound in that Taylor, i set my mind on getting one as well !

Is this a standard tuning ?

Well done and thanks for sharing.

  • i just bought this guitar too, im in love with it its amazing!

  • Can you post tabs or chord progression you used? Cool little song!

  • I just bought this exact guitar and LOVE it. The neck just feels perfect in my hands. It comes with the Expression system which captures the true sound of your guitar when plugged in.

  • hey im thinking about buying this type of guitar exactly but idk....how much do you love it? and how much did u pay for it?

  • @Mellow0grl i might be able to help i own two taylors (314ce) (914ce) i love them BOTH alot, the 314ce has great action great sound plugged or unplugged and the lloks on the 314ce are really plain and chill i like that

  • Awesome mate!! For both of you and the guitar!! wondering what song you're playing??

  • its sounds a little like....guitar duel from august rush and another song mixed? but thats just a guess

  • It's just piece I made up really to demonstrate this guitar. The chords are similar to Biffy Clyro's Mountains though.

  • @pauljacksonmusic It sounds like a song by Flyleaf called Believe in Dreams but sped up quite fast... btw that Taylor sounds amazing!

  • Very Nice, I also have a Taylor 314CE and I love it.

  • @billmcgoldrick1234

Do you think its worth laying down the extra $1000 + dollars for an 800 series Taylor?

  • @meangreen4321 The 314ce is good enough for most requirements.

  • @meangreen4321 Yeah, if u play infront of 500000 thousand people.

  • @klasse2bub That's not a number

  • @billmcgoldrick1234 do you think it is worth the extra price from the 214ce? :O
