I heard "Funk #49" in 1975, I picked up a guitar that was always laying around the house and never looked back! First time I saw Joe was 1979.
Then a bunch of times since. Met him a few times.
He wouldn't remember as he meets fans all the time. But I'll never forget those times. I've been lucky enough to meet and jam with a couple of my guitar heroes over the years. I wish Joe was one of'em. Maybe someday? He's the best He sounds better than ever now.
