I personally this song is about a man who went through emotional trauma (as in the girl leaving him) and he can' t experience the "Blue Sunny Day" anymore, which could be a metaphor that means he can no longer feel happiness, only a "blacksky turns to gray" or a switch between suffering and just being numb. At the end when he dies could also mean either that he can't shake his depression or he throws away the "pieces" of is old life after he sees the "pale blue sky", or begginings of happiness.

@draconon97 I should have found a different way to handle that shot because a couple of people have been confused by the line. It's a split-screen. The guy is on the right, the sun is on the left, and there's a line between the two because it's not just one shot but two. That's obviously not clear enough though, so I'll be more careful in the future.

@spiffworld I think the problem is it's purple. Split screen lines are traditionally black. Purple makes people think it's a leftover. Next time, make it black and a bit thicker.

@WOWLionblood In Adobe After Effects, you add each element to the shot separately. So the woman is on one layer, the man on another, the vampire on another and the background on another. Then you render the whole thing out as a single clip that goes into your video editor for the final product.
