  • Why is this related to sonic. WHY!

  • I got here from snake videos O.o

  • I did this in the mall for 10 dollars and it was the most horrible pain i have ever felt!!I wanted to cry.I will never do that again

  • it's still hair REMOVAL. It will still sting... there is no silent easy non-painful hair removal, it's just LESS painful. The string in her mouth goes nowhere near your skin, she stays at a standing height angling over you with two strings.. its anchored in her mouth.

  • WTF ....AWESOME xD

  • this lady is a pro !!

  • 7:03 TRUST ME

  • I had just done that today. It was my first time ever doing anything to my eyebrows and it really hurt.

  • @FriendlyGod88 it hurts a little the first time...but it gets better the more often you do it :)

  • that was amazing. ive never been so impressed

  • What a perfectionist!

  • hey!! this!!!i remember my gradma used to teach me how to do this!!brings back nice memory!!

  • This is the dumbest fucking video I have ever wasted 3 mins of my life on...

  • que dahoraaaaa

  • Does anybody do this in the USA ?

  • @mlcoo17 Yes. This short film was shot in the Devon section of Chicago. Many bigger cities have salons offering eyebrow threading, and it is gaining in popularity.

  • @mlcoo17 yeah they have it mostly everywhere now..well i live in california n theres ppl that do it here..

  • @mlcoo17 some malls have people that come in on days and do it

  • @mlcoo17 A lot of people do, i got mine done today. Some malls do these, it's actually less painful then waxing and last a A LOT longer too!

  • how does she do that?

  • I cant believe theres a massive argument on a video showing how to do your eyebrows lol

  • @ALICEPIN Nope you would still be the dumb one, use you clues about the movie.....how in the world would it touch your face let alone your eyebrow if its in her mouth and she is moving her hand and head back and forth and add more words to your vocabulary so you don't have to curse and sound dumb.......spell correctly......well thats enough lessons for you right now you probably cant comprehend it all at one time seeing how you can't read in between lines very well......

  • @ALICEPIN your so dumb

  • @ALICEPIN your so dumb it stays in her mouth the whole time............were you watching anything...........

  • Its not painful people.... xD

  • como ha de doler eso pero al final se ve que queda muy bien

  • que chingoneria

  • AU.

  • I think twizingg and waxing hurts more. she did I nice job on her but wish the camera man didn't move around so much grrrh

  • i hav no idea wut the hell this is ??????

some one tell wtf this is....

  • xD my bro- in law got one of these in the mall hahaha

  • vav süper aliyo ya

  • I got this done a few weeks ago and it hurt about a hundred times more than waxing :(

  • What Kind Of Cream They Use,..Right Before The Threading Begins?

  • Ive done waxing, and it HURTS! But im gunna get my eyebrows threaded soon, does it hurt? And if it does how bad?

  • beautiful video.

  • thumbs up if u muted this shit

  • my girlfriend is indian, wifey material

  • anyone see at 4.14 she has no eyelashes...or thats what it looks like..

  • U missed the boat on your short documentary.... that is BEFORE and AFTER pics. Better luck next time.

  • everything in the indian culture is so beautiful .

  • Did anyone see how red her upper brows got? damn this must be painful.

  • I recommend threading to EVERYONE. Just got it done for the first time yesterday after 2 years of waxing and it was PAINLESS. This is coming from someone who is a wimp when it comes to any type of pain. Waxing burns, causes acne and damages your skin. Not to mention it hurts and takes a lot of timeand you often have to tweeze it afterwords. Threading only takes 5 minutes. I will NEVER wax again!

  • It hurt like hell when it got near the ends!

  • this is in Chicago

  • what is that white powder?/cream? that she is using? how long does it take for the hair to start growing back after threading? her thread looks thicker than mine, i wonder where she gets it?

  • @ragigyp It's a powder, probably just a talc powder. It's to prevent the skin from catching in the thread.

  • I had this done at the mall yesterday. The lady cut my left eye lid with the thread. It was the worst experience ever, my eyebrows weren't even done correctly. I still had to remove the stray hairs at home with the tweezers after I iced my eye cause I had to two long cuts.

  • ok now i'm curious as to if i want to do it myself or and pay. seems simple enough to do. i'mma try it :)

  • inspite of the odd scenes ...interesting

  • it dsnt even hurt i get my eyebrows done like every month since they grow really fast its better than using tweezerz

  • doesnt hurt much. lot less than plucking and a lot faster!

  • i just got mine done wednesday. there was pain but it was worth it, because i used 2 have straight eyebrows which i hate, but now i have a "prettyful" arch to them now lol. the left eyebrow hurt more than the right one, but i'm going back.

  • i <3 threading!!! Waxing should be outlawed!!

  • I've had threaing before but the technician. Didn't use lotion on mine before she started. This way, looks a little less painful.

  • acreditem é ouch! mesmo hehehehe

  • thats amazing!!

  • I have had threading done for quite sometime, I still find it painfull. Perhaps I just have a low pain threshold. But I much prefer it over waxing and plucking.

  • dlugie, nudne i nieciekawie zrobione. poczatek rozwlekly, musialam przewinac, bo juz sie zaczelam wkurzac;)

muzyka jakby rodem z 'desperado' z antoniem banderasem;P wiem wiem, ze od azjatyckiej do meksykanskiej muzyki daleka droga, ale musicie przyznac, ze ta 'gitara' w tle robi swoje ;)

  • All forms of hair removal except electrolysis (waxing, threading and plucking) will place some sort of stress on the skin and age the skin quicker. For the middle area and low on the eyelids I would go for electrolysis.

  • i just had my eyebrows threaded for the first time about 3 hours ago. It was almost pain free and done really quick. My eyebrows have never looked better!! It definitely hurts less than both waxing and plucking. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

  • @BrookeTheAmerican Really? I had mine done once and it hurt really badly. I guess it depends on the person..

  • you must have had an ANGEL because this shit hurt soooooo bad. like i was being stabbed in the face witha sharp knife. i never got a wax before but i'd never do this again

  • @FromA2mee ahhh same here! it was horrible!

  • it hurts so much, but the result is worth it :]

  • The sound sounds painful

  • does it hurt?! I want to get this done but im scared!

  • i heard it doesnt hurt as much as waxing,

  • I loved this documentary. I love getting my eye brows done. Five years ago I had a roommate from Malasia who put me on the game about threading, and ever since then, I've been faithful to threading. It just does wonders to your face man. Love it.

  • Que Arte Olee!!

  • Where in Chicago is this filmed, North Side?

  • i want to get this done soo bad! my town is so small, no one here does this...grrr!

  • ill do it to your pubic region

  • I dont know why, but watching this is so soothing, and relaxing, reminds me of monkey grooming haha.

  • lolz that looks so weird :P but thats how ill do it

  • does it hurt ?

  • magnifique

  • Is anyone else really bothered by the sound of the hair being removed in this video? It reminds me of the feeling most people get when they hear nails scratching on a chalkboard.

But I'd never heard of this before, apparently people are saying it's better than waxing and plucking; is the hair actually being removed or is it just essentially being trimmed? If it's being removed, can someone please explain its benefits over plucking (other than getting many hairs at once, of course)?

  • the hair is being removed from the roots and when it grows back it grows thiner and sparser so overtime you won't have to do it as often and i heard that it only hurts the first few times later on u don't feel anything. when you you wax it tugs ur skin and tweezing takes longer

  • ermm i had my eyebrow threaded 3 weeks ago for the first time it did hurt but it wasnt that bad! The benefits of having it threaded is that it removes the hair and it doesnt grow back thicker and it also lasts up to 3 weeks.

  • muito bom video parabens

  • My girlfriend, who is Indian, convinced me to "thread" my pubic hair yesterday. Honestly It only hurt the first 15min. After that the 30min passed without any discomfort. I would recommend it to anyone.

  • what the address?

  • iGot My Eyebrows Threaded For The First Time Today && Yes It Does Hurt.Alot But iWas Alright && They Look REALLY Pretty Once There Done..But iGuess It Also Depends On How High Your Pain Tolerance Is Me iHave Very High Pain Tolerance..`!

  • To me its better than waxing the woman told me I was brave and peoples first time getting thread cry but to me it didn't hurt that bad like waxing to me

  • indian women have natural beautiful eyebrow

  • @ebisemakurvo tis tru lol

  • @ebisemakurvo and an urge to blow people up

  • @ebisemakurvo Indian women are just naturally beautiful. The country has produced the most "Miss Worlds."

  • @ebisemakurvo sure...in 1950...now indian women are like european women or american women and they don't want to look like frida khalo!

  • just use ice so it isn't too painful...

  • also using cocoa butter on your eyebrow area isn't so painful

  • I loved this film! Threading is a great form of depilation which is getting famous around the world lately. I'm very interested in learning how to thread myself!

  • they finally made a threading place at Mall of America in MN

  • I find the salon person's mustache so distracting. Such finesse, yet how long could it take to tidy her up? She's in the business after all.

  • Treading does hurt but only for a few seconds.

i actually threaded my eyebrows today

    on my own .

its pretty easy once you get the hang of it .

    =)

  • How do you thread on your own??

  • you`ve got 2 practise really

i learnt from youtube videos and from my friends (:

  • is beautyfful picture, see my Threading too, as name:

    coobel, Brasil...

  • Any type of threading or tweezing hurts the first couple of times you do it, until the nerves start to deaden in that area and it isn't so painful anymore.

  • I really don't understand these people who say it hurts getting their eyebrows threaded. It doesn't hurt anymore than getting your brows waxed and you're not taking off a layer of skin like waxing does!

  • Your totally right Klub1uk.

Threading sooo does not hurt unless you have EXTREMELY sensitive skin!

  • i had my eyebrows threaded for the first time today and it hurt like crap i was trying soo hard not to cry but totally failed but im only 14 so yea haha

  • I usually get my brows waxed and don't have any problems with it. Yea it hurts for the quick few seconds they pull the wax strip off. But today I got mine threaded for the first time and it hurt 200 times worse. It was slower which made the pain seem longer. I'm definitely sticking with waxing.

  • It does hurt a bit, but again (beauty is pain).. and Waxing couldn't leave your eyebrows in such shape like threading can they really aren't the same..

  • if you go to a good threader, the shape is 1000 times more precise and defined. I will never go back to waxing. even the best places have left me with STRANGE looking brows and undefined arches. also if the wax is even SLIGHTLY off, you could lose a WHOLE brow

  • i cant O_O

  • can some one tell me the diference about waxing and threading i wanna get my eye brows done but im to scared :( does it hurt plz some one answer my question

  • melancp, threading is much more precise than waxing, because the thread can pick up the smallest of hairs. It doesn't hurt anymore than waxing if it's done properly, doesn't rip off a layer of skin along with your brows and doesn't leave so much redness after its done. You should try it, don't be scared of it. Hope that helps

  • it doesnt hurt depends on if they are crap at doing it they not pro

  • I knew people threaded upper lip hairs, but I didn't know they threaded eyebrows. I react badly to waxing (I get horrible acne afterwards), so this sounds like a good idea. Looks like it would hurt a lot at first though.

  • honestly, the less it hurts the worse your threader is. If it doesn't hurt at all then he/she is not getting the hair from the root. It should hurt but only for a little bit really

  • i got my eyebrows threaded, they ripped off a whole section!! xD

  • wow... that is amazing.. I love it.. I am a beauty therapist in New Zealand and we do not learn how to do threading but learn about it.. To see how it is done is one thing but i love how you massaged the face and keep the connact flowing with your client.. i sooo want to put in the time and energy to learn this wonderful technique

  • anybody know what this song is called?

    i really like it!

  • threading is way better than waxing! No pain, and they shape your eyebrows celebrity status!

  • girls, let me recommend you that when you go get your eye brows done, don't wear any make up on your eyes because you have to hold down on your eye and you end up crying lol.....

  • That man looks like a lost puppy in the beginning

  • WOW that is awesome! I think i'm going to try that!

  • i got my eyebrows waxed once & i didnt really like it. i get my eyebrows threaded every two weeks now & they always look great! im indian so my mom recommended it cuz i never heard of it before. i love it ! it makes such a big difference try threading its great :) it hurts the first time but after a while you get used to the pain lol. it doesnt hurt any more for me

  • i wish i knew how to do that for some reason. So professional!

  • You can find tuts. on here on how to do it. I found a few and tried it myself. It doesn't hurt but I find it complicated to do it on myself HAHA

  • wow

  • this is an amazing technique for eyebrows. I've tried it already and it left me really surprised.

  • What a great documentary. Everything you need to know about threading, and no words needed.

  • OMG I JUST got my eyebrows threaded at the mall And it Hurt Sooo bad! I'm used to plucking my eyebrows myself and i would think after gettin used to the pain the threading wouldn't hurt as much but i was in so much pain! I was actually crying in the chair it hurt so bad. Make sure the person doing your eyebrows are doing it quick because she was going slow and i felt every little prick! It even left scars above my eye. 'm never doing that agin.

  • When I tried, it didn't hurt one bit

  • This is a goo documentry. My only complaint is the title. To me, it implied that threading was a painful process. I think the title should have been Ouch but with a strike through.

In my opinion, I think threading is better than waxing. I was always so afraid to do waxin since I would be ripping out my hair but threading has no more pain than plucking and it's quicker.

  • Wow that looks so neat, I wanna try that one day.

  • wooww thats y indian girls have so beautiful shaped eyesbrows! great!

  • i really recommand people to go and get their eyebrows done there that lady is really good her place is in chicago so if you lie here GO!!!

  • I think threading is great. I just recently started to get mine done this way and its so much better than waxing.

When I would get waxed i would be red all over for like.... 3 days. now it's red for an hour and it looks a lot more... kept.

    I like it.

and I don't think it hurts as much. then again I didn't think waxing hurt to bad. just left me so damn red I looked like i was dying from some horrible affliction.

  • hahha she looked sad.

  • my aunt knows how to do threading too! she did it on my sister once and it worked..

  • what is that white cream stuff she rubs onto the girl's face??

  • I'm not certain, but I believe it's baby powder to help get a better grasp of the hair, and to also keep them from sticking to the face after being pulled out.

  • The music is hypnotic and the visuals are mesmerizing. I couldn't take me eyes away.

  • i got my eyebrows threaded befor and it works really well! but it hurts!and for a ong time after

  • wow... this is an amazing production... love threading... in the process of learning to do it to myself ;)

  • Wow, that woman is a master artisan . . . that's amazing!

  • Extremely well made. The music goes perfectly with the imagery!

  • THreading is the best its leaves the brows so neat

  • this actually looks like it feels so good, im serious lol

  • i think ur too in tuned to the calming music... lol i just got my eyebrows threaded today lol and i still feel the painful tingles..lol..its not my first time though.

  • really?

it feels nice when i get mine done.

and it tingles a little bit afterwards, but in a good way.

    :)

  • I think it feels kind of neat. Then again, I'm a freak who didn't think waxing was bad. I think this is just a better styling tool for the brows than wax and tweezers.

That and I had a HORRID waxing last time I had it done.

  • actually it doesnt hurt that much :D

  • wow

  • love the music whats it called

  • yh me too. I think its just traditional music. played on the sitar. gosh, i wish i knew.

  • it only hurts a little... like someone is pinching you. i was expecting it 2 hurt more actually because i cant stand pain. i liked the results!

  • that rocks.. i want to learn how to do that!!!

  • that is th besttt!i get mine done for 3$ wouhuuu

  • ow. it looks like it hurts like hell

  • I'm a HUGE fan of threading! Unlike waxing, it doesn't rip off a layer of skin, which means your skin takes much less time to recover. My threader charges $10 for brows.

    Beautiful film!

  • I want mine done! I have had mine waxed but never threaded. Does it hurt? Any advice?

  • I am honest and i have to tell you that it hurts like hell. But the final result it`s awesome! It hurts more than waxing, anyways.I've payed for mine 8£.It`s not expensive and it`s briliant.

  • Thanks! I ttly want to do that!!!!!!!!

  • It doesn't hurt as much as waxing but it is still a little painful.

  • I wouldn't really describe it as "painful."

    More like irritating.

But it looks really good afterwards which is all that matters :P

  • jesus christ gotta hurt

  • i got mine for 5 dollars

  • I have extremely sensitive sking that gets cut if it isnt stretched out and if the lady isnt pre warned about it. Threading actually gives the best results, so a small cu here and there is nothing when compared to waxing or tweezing.

If you think it may hurt you, take something for the pain and then go to the salon..

  • it turned out sooo red !

    does it hurt !?

i was thnking about going to get my eyebrows threaded .. but now i have second thoughts !

  • it hurts some people but, not everyone

  • HoW MuCh DoEs It CoSt??

  • i heard that it was like 15 dollars .. but i guess it depends .

  • c'est dingue ce truc!!

  • by the way it huts like a mutha....

  • I got it done at a different salon but in the same street....chicago

  • Yah, I just had mine done, and my eyes were only a little red for a short time. Plus its more precice and it lasts longer! I still dont have straggelers after, like, 4 weeks. But it does hurt... its worth it though. :)

  • Yah, I just had mine done, and my eyes were only a little red for a short time. Plus its more precice and it lasts longer! I still dont have straggelers after, like, 4 weeks. But it does hurt... its worth it though. :)

  • ye i have ttryed this .. it doesnt hurt at all but it depends on wat body part or face part ur using it at ..!!

  • its painful .... my eyes was teary when i got mine done ...for me this hurts more than waxing cause waxing hurts in a few second unlike this..u need to deal with the pain until ur done!

  • hmm... makes me want to go find a piece of thread haha

  • it's mesmorizing...Line of hair just gone! My mum has it done. She used to have wax but it left red marks under her eyes. Threading doesn't and is faster
