I love this hurt and pain mixed with love and lies it's so perfectly sung by Hank Jr. It's all over but the crying is a classic country love song. "It sounded so true when you said I love you" whooo-hoo I love it. great clip

I'd also say this is '76ish. It looks like he is wearing a hair piece attached to his hat. The hair is probably covering the scars on his forehead where his brain was exposed from the fall.  Hadn't had all the plastic surgerys performed yet is my guess.

Thanks for posting this. One of my favorite Hank jr. songs. It's nice to see him transitioning into his own style and catch him between his daddy and himself. I hate to say it, but I think that mountain did him a lot of good.
