  • I'm with you about the books. I actually found that I preferred the films, which is a rare thing for me and is made even more odd by the fact that the movies had such weak source material from which to draw. It was much easier for me to get sucked into the films.

On a side note, I love that you're playing Persona 4. Did you ever finish it?

  • @Gmooreisawesome Of course! I never reviewed it, but I liked it even better than Persona 3. I prefer the films too, they make it easier to "take" in, and you are spared Bella's internal dialogue.

  • @childofthemoor I played Persona 4 first, then went back and played Persona 3 and I agree, it was better. A lot more forgiving than Persona 3. Especially since you only have to fight the final boss in 2 forms as opposed to 14 for the Final Boss in 3.

Regarding Stephanie Meyer, have you noticed that she never quite strikes the right balance in terms of detail? Either she describes something in such excruitating detail that it's boring or so little detail that it's almost an afterthought.

  • @Gmooreisawesome Yeah, and Persona 4 had a better battle system and more in depth characters, plus I think I just liked the lighter tone.

Now that you mention it, yes. Some writers just don't know how to balance their writing.

  • @childofthemoor by the way, it's immensely cool that you're a local. I'm also from Washington. Seattle to be exact.

  • @Gmooreisawesome Yessir! And proud. Maybe that's why the books bug me so much, or at least one reason...unlike Bella, I happen to think Washington's very pretty.

  • Twilight is amazing ! I have watched this movie the first time at twilight-now /./ com

  • I think the whole Twighlight thing has been really overrated and now they are just churning out films. The third one was announced just as the second one came to DVD! I haven't read the book but I think you summed it up quite well, you're a great reviewer!

  • I completely agree with most everything you say here. It was a poorly written book with a few interesting characters, but I think her use of the thesaurus and her main character (Bella) absolutely ruined everything that could possibly be liked about the book. Just my opinion. Any lovers of these novels out there, don't bash me.

  • What I always hated was that Bella was so 'normal', 'plain' and not beautiful yet for some reason everyone was bowing down to her and worshipping her.

BTW, I think you would love the books Night World. Romance and vampires.

  • wow how correct you are on so many points! good job!

  • An author I want you to review is Anthony G. Cirilla.

He has to be my favorite author of all time. His Dark Kensai series are magnificent.

  • Aldawok12, people are allowed to have opinion, get spell check and learn the first amendment.

Love your hair, you are very good at doing reviews. ^_^

  • Thank you. =^___^=

  • AAAARRRGH! HOW DARE YOU!

just kidding :) you are very specific and people need to hear this because you actually know how to appreciate good writing and recognize bad writing... because you're a good writer yourself!

    loves! ~jo
