@Kitarist88 No I haven't used any kits. First I've build amp from ax84 - Hi Octane. I was not satisfied because HiOctane was too muddy for me - even if I've opened cabs cover. So I've made some changes and now preamp section is near JCM 800 2203, sound fantastic for me.
My amp is still evolving, now I've add switchable rectifier selection between tube or diodes.
@Kitarist88 It's no so complicated as I thought. Search the web, there is many pages with schematics, mods. Google ''Valve wizard" this is fantastic page, which help you understand how valves work, how to create power supply, grounding etc.
I'm going to make one of these too.
BTW, whats te song after 1.46. I can't remember. But it sounds very familiar
