i was there on sunday, i thought the first tunnel was creepy, then got to the second and it was fucking loooooooong and dark, we reallly should have brought a torch
Why would you just leave a car there, I don't get it. A bit suspicious. The subway itsself is fucking awesome, I'd probably shit myself and no go in, lol.
I know there's a tunnel in the gardens near Kirklee station you can use to access Botanic Gardens station, but where is the other tunnel at the other side? Is it near Kelvingrove by any chance?
I'm 36 and I've lived in Glasgow most of my life (not anymore) and I had no idea that this place existed!! *Hangs head in shame* What's even more shameful is that I lived for the majority of the time about 1.5 miles away, in Ruchill! D'oh!
Actually, I've just realised that the 'Miley' tunnel would have ended around there, or under the Tesco at Maryhill Shopping Centre. As a kid i used to pass by that way and look over the wall (with the help of my Dad) at the trains, way before the shopping centre was built!
Nice. Its been a while since I last went exploring this tunnel. Was in the section under Kelvingrove Park though back in summer. Exdllent video and nice choice of backround music
not scary ive been down and im 11 i go to hillhead wich is round the corner on ceciil street and i live round the corner u get in to it from a little gap in fence as u go in back entrance at kelvin walkway
You'll find the entrance just inside the gardens at the Kirklee end. As you enter the botanics from the Kirklee side, go down the hill through the bushes to the left hand side and you'll come to it. Have a great day, but be careful inside the second tunnel, it's very dark and there are a lot of holes in the ground.
I'd love to go down there for a wee look. Trouble is that if it came to it I'd be feart of the law or neds. Great video, and loved your photos on UG too.
Thanks Tartan :) There wasn't a soul to be seen when we went down there apart from a couple of guys exploring who were entering just as we were leaving.
Could you tell me exactly where you entered this tunnel? thank's...and theres also a tunnel like this that runs under Ruchill Golf Course,it was accessible last year..
Has anyone gone further down the tunnel?

Gawd, I remember seeing this station as a wee lad in the 1960s. Amazing it's still there.
