You have to switch off the "bow/edge link" There is in the menu anywhere... I sold td4 now I have td9, so I dont know exactly where. And you can choose separate sounds for the bow and the edge.

Hi.

I have TD-6V, which is a few years old now and I've tried to record some song with it in to a computer with cubase on it., but I can't get it to sound realistic.

In my headset it sound good, but when recording, it gets all messed up.

Sometimes some of the drum sounds isn't there at all in the recording, but I heard it clearly in my headset.

I can almost get the sound I'm looking for, but then I have to boost the EQ in Cubase and I have to hit the drums really hard to get the sound I want.

Hi,will the td4 be good enough for live shows? Sounds like the hihat,kick,snares etc etc.. can they stand for sure against a td9 or td12/20 ?

Hi! I think, its enough. hihat,kick,toms,and and chrash are very good, but this snare is a quite smeary if you use in higher volume. I think its worth for money. Td12,Td9 has more features (compressor, eq,tec), but the sounds in td4 is better than td12. I use td4 with spd-s, and my snare come from spd-s.

Yes, it has a 2 mono jack output. I've recorded multitrack with sony vegas.
