I don't know why, but I find it very hard to believe that birds of prey could cause that much damage to that kind of a Cardassian warship......but w/e, still an awesome episode and GREAT way of showing what the Defiant can do. Maybe the Klingon attack cruiser was there from the beginning and cloaked when the Defiant showed up, just leave it do Dukat to leave that kind of info to himself. xD lol
@ajerific Actually 3 birds of prey could have easily destroyed a cardassian warship...u forget the bird of prey is an old ship but it is highly effective..they are highly maneuverable..and klingon disruptors do just that..they disrupt energy shields...a vessel built only for BATTLE...
@Roadracer987654321 Yeah it actually was quite the same with me when I realized it... although I seen it first on a German network (SAT.1), which would mean, maybe, it happened a year after... but nonetheless, man, are we old... on the other hand, had the show become old in any way? Looking at the vid posted it's like it's still good for 2011 standards (especially that I can't recall any show being as good since then - well, BSG maybe, but that's a whole different pair of shoes)
i saw the episode when it first aired that had th DS 9 peopole going back in time and interacting with the people and sets of the Origina lSeries. It was a ZCute episode that deserved a sequel episode. i remember watching The Next Generation the night it premeired in October 1987. I just gave away the tv set i watched it on. I still have that first airing taped on VHS somewhere. That 24 years ago was TV History.
@Roadracer987654321 It still looks good though. About the 16 years, .......Boo Hoo Hoo! Ah well, i'm still young enough for another 16, but there will never be another DS9.
Erm - Sisko didn't seem to bothered about the crew of Dukat's ship. Sure the Detapa Council - who nobody pays attention to at the best of times - is aboard. But those poor crewmen!
I love how the control panel explodes at 1:16, and when Worf takes over that station, it's completely unscratched.

i think the sad bit is, they teleported the council, but left the rest of the troops to die.
rsbandbj1 2 months ago
@rsbandbj1 Sorry to say this but troops are expendable, council members are not.

Editors should have at least put a vague shaking effect in that shot, Dukat just looks like he got startled a little too much.

@SkewYT Yeah, BUT deep down Dukat was a coward!
