  • proud owner of this violin... mine is Navy blue

  • I just got my 130 out of layaway, for a christmas/birthday present that i've been waiting to get forever, definitely worth the money.

  • Are most electric violins expensive?

I was thinkng about getting one, but the one thing that has stopped is the price.

  • How much is it?:( I really want one!! But I can only spend about 350 on one. I'm only 15, don't have a job yet and am trying to find an electric violin that's nice but not to expensive

  • @MarisafrogK This one was around $600. You can see how much the Yamaha SV-120 is. That one I think is discontinued but its just as good as the 130. I am not sure how much that would be though. Or you can convince your parents to pay for half like I did :)

  • @TeraCMusic Oo ok thank u!! I was looking at the one u have on eBay and amazon and they want $675 :( and yeah!!:D I'm going to try that:D bday present for next year lol

  • @MarisafrogK Go to amazon dot com, search for "electric violin".

  • @MarisafrogK try looking on ebay. i was looking on there the other day and i saw some that were like 90 dollars and they included a book, earphones, rosin, and a bow . you might not be able to pay it with cash but you can probably ask someone who has a debit card or credit card if they could order it for you then you can pay them. OR you can go to a walmart and buy a prepaid visa and use that.

  • @93jgamer You have to be careful, though. Those electrics that are under $100 will lack in the good electric quality. The piezo pickup will be cheaper and the material will be flimsy. You just have to know that you will get what you pay for-- a lower-quality electric violin.

  • @TeraCMusic ya your right lol. but they would be good starter electrics, right? or would it be better to buy a 700 dollar instrument right off the bat?

  • @TeraCMusic i actually ordered one from the guy marisafrogk is talking about...its yinfente and its a chinese company...i was scared like you about it being so cheap but i got a six string for about 170 and so far its really good of course its not a Mark Wood electric violin but for its price its actually not to shabby

  • @93jgamer btw if ur considering getting an electric violin especially the sv-130 try to get a really good violin but only the instrument itself because the headphones good rosin bow and case are all shit

the bow is crap and maybe not even brasilwood the headphones will be plastic drugstore dolar bin headphones the case... is not THAT bad but its still something that u dont want to carry your 130 in and the rosin WILL fall apart and break if it is not already when u get it

  • @ironhawk10000 really? As long as you have a decent bow, you should be fine. The one that came with mine seems to be okay. I guess the quality of the bow does not do much to the sound of the electric. I have tried using my John Paul Legacy bow on my electric, but it barely makes a difference lol. The headphones are not the best, that is true. I like the case just cause I don't take it anywhere, it stays in my room lol. And I use this jade rosin that I got with my acoustic. :)

  • @TeraCMusic ya but is it reaally worth the extra 400$? u should probably have a bow but if not a pretty good one is 130 and a great case for 110 then maybe rosin for 5 and if u really need great headphones 100$.. even though u probalby already have a pair. all those ( a great case good bow rosin and great headphones) would be about 345 or u could pay a bit more for some mediocre ok equipment.. idk im just cheap like that :P

  • @ironhawk10000 hmm i am not sure. I mean, I only had to pay for half of it :P My parents paid for the other half so i was fine with it lol. But you could most definitely find ways around getting the 130 package.

  • Can you play this instrument on stage with an amplifyer?

  • @ScottAndHisGuitarr yes, you can.

  • what electric silent violin would u recommend for a beginner thats not way too expensive but actually works decent? I mean i have the money to go out and buy a NS Design wave 4 which is actually what i kinda want haha. But i really wanna dabble with the violin and see if its really something i could get into. If it is then i'll buy expensive later. I play electric guitar and i think an electric violin is right up my ally. So ya, which electric would u recommend for a beginning violin beginner?

  • @NeoPanzerth I would recommend an electric violin from the Thomann music store. They are range from around 120 Euros to 2000 Euros.

  • is that red or brown?

  • @razaviknows red

  • Thanks for the video.

  • Thank you! I was wondering exactly the same thing :-)

  • q envidia q te tengo!!!fuck!!!!

  • uh no entiendo.

  • do you think i should but this tera

  • @XplatinmsnipaX It all depends on how much you are willing to spend. This one was about $600 something. The SV-150 is lighter, and has 24 preset sounds in a little box. It doesnt have that great a battery life though. And its more expensive. The SV-200 is supposedly the best for those who are going to perform at concerts. It has an acoustic sound to it, and it feels a lot more like a high quality acoustic violin. This one is the most expensive. Look at the link in the sidebar for more info

  • thanks tera

  • @XplatinmsnipaX youre welcome!

  • go tera!!!!!!!

  • thanks!, congratulations is a nice violin

  • Hi, I really appreciate that, looks like it may be the one for me, thank you.

  • no problem! glad i could help!!
