  • thats what i call a pitchers park

  • they could still draw the yellow line like chase field does in az

  • a homerun does not always have to be over a wall if that fence is like 4 feet in front and the ball falls in between its called a HOMERUN!!

  • how the hell are you supposed to hit a home run in center with a wall the size of the green monster?

  • @thesoxrox1 its so the batter can see the ball dumbass

  • @11PumaCat oh whoops i didnt see the yellow over the 425' or whatever sign so i thought they had 2 hit it over that, lol

  • @thesoxrox1 they do, but there is no background like at a stadium so they make the wall high so the batter can pick up the ball better

  • @thesoxrox1 its behind the wall

  • i like stadium but wouldnt want to play in it cuz when ever i hit a dinger its always to dead center! lol

  • @zachishellacool in az the tucson padres center field wall is the hight of the green monster but the difrence is that its inn dead center and center field is 399ft. unlike the green monster witch is to left and is only 310ft.

  • @TheJbr777 thanks for that information, it betters my life now hehe

  • just to clear things up it is called a batters eye, sometimes its connected to the fence sometimes it isnt but it usually serves as an extra wall to protect like a street or a parking lot but also so the batter can see the ball better out of the pitchers hand and its not a white ball on a light blue sky

  • @WhiplashOne it's called a batters eye. It's part of the center field wall.

  • dam that wind was vicious

  • hitter lookin' silly at 2:14

  • can anyone tell me y center field fence is like 50ft high?? i dont get it.

i wish i can throw high heat! Chapman is just amazing!

  • @Mindfreak177 It's called the batter's eye. It's there to give the hitter a consistent background so there are no contrasting colors that will interfere with the whiteness of the ball. That is also why no major league stadium has seating in centerfield, so the batter can see the ball out of pitcher's hand. There's a longer answer than you were looking for.

  • @ir4711 so is it like a second wall behind the center field wall? or is it part of the center field wall, all connected, and to hit a home run you would have to hit it over the whole thing?

  • @Mindfreak177 i believe its after the center field wall, not attached to it

  • @Mindfreak177 no homeruns allowed

  • look how he shut that last guy out. he gets pissed and overthrows his fastball, comes back with 2 fastballs for swinging strikes, then throws a must swing pitch that ends the inning. this guy will be a great pitcher.

  • he is going to be a hall of famer in my mine!

  • @TheTriplePlayTV agree

  • @TheTriplePlayTV What mind is that??
