they ended it at the wrong place. i would have picked the part where he beats this guy with the (hinted) new form of Dempsey roll. for people who read the manga they know. its the guy who thinks he saw god or something.

Ippo's next fight is against Shimabukoro.

I like to call that fight "MEN OF THE SEA". Shimabukuro is all like "I will take you to the bottom of the sea". Its a fight to test Ippo's stamina.

This is also the fight where Nanako starts making her moves on Ippo ;o She joins him everyday in the swimming pool.. -hint hint-(No literally lol).

It would be nice to see the WWII arc in a movie or something.

I agree. There's like at least 4 whole episodes dedicated to comic relief. And from what I read on the internet, the producers sort of just took this season as a trial run since they weren't sure if there's still interest as the original ippo series aired a long time ago. All in all, they still keep to the original manga's milestones and such. I hope the series will go on for several more seasons.
