My knowledge on sikhism is enough to know that the sikhism is a faith that spreads peace and brotherhood, which is very similar to the teachings of Islam. Sikhs and Muslims have worked together in the past, as Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the Mughal king Bahudur Shah won many wars together. Also the first stone of the Golden temple was placed by a muslim. And the Guru Granth Sahib has a whole chapter writen by a muslim called Kabir. Raj karga Khalsa and Allah o Akbar. I hope it made sense.

Hey guys. The Mughals, more particularly Aurangzeb, were responsible for the death of many Sikhs. However i dont think this condemnation should be extended to all Muslims. He killed all Shias (comprise of approx 15% of muslims today). I, a shia, have attended gurdwaras on a biweekly basis for many years now,and love sikhism not simply because of its peaceful nature and homely temples, but because my religion (shia islam) tells me to do so.

No one is comparing Prophet Mohammed Sahib with Mughals. A God's man can not be compared with any usual man, of course. Punjabis have been at the receiving end for ages whenever the country was attacked and that makes them brave people and most of the Sikhs happen to be living in Punjab, hence the bravery. Though in Guru era, the philosophy of Sikhism created the bravest from the coward.

My knowledge on sikhism is enough to know that the sikhism is a faith that spreads peace and brotherhood, which is very similar to the teachings of Islam. Sikhs and Muslims have worked together in the past, as Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the Mughal king Bahudur Shah won many wars together. Also the first stone of the Golden temple was placed by a muslim. And the Guru Granth Sahib has a whole chapter writen by a muslim called Kabir. Raj karga Khalsa and Allah o Akbar. I hope it made sense.

Hey guys. The Mughals, more particularly Aurangzeb, were responsible for the death of many Sikhs. However i dont think this condemnation should be extended to all Muslims. He killed all Shias (comprise of approx 15% of muslims today). I, a shia, have attended gurdwaras on a biweekly basis for many years now,and love sikhism not simply because of its peaceful nature and homely temples, but because my religion (shia islam) tells me to do so.

Mohd sahib can't tell this lie that Islam is the only way and all others r Kaafirs. Aayats of Quran had come to the prophet but still, Quran has not been written by him. Who knows whether Quran contains what Allah told Mohd Sahib or not? What is the authenticity? Unlike, Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh scripture was written by Guru Sahibaan with their own hands. But still when Zafar asked Guru Gobind Singh whose religion is better, Guru sahib had replied - to you it is urs and to me it is mine.

No one is comparing Prophet Mohammed Sahib with Mughals. A God's man can not be compared with any usual man, of course. Punjabis have been at the receiving end for ages whenever the country was attacked and that makes them brave people and most of the Sikhs happen to be living in Punjab, hence the bravery. Though in Guru era, the philosophy of Sikhism created the bravest from the coward.

Inspite of lack of resources, Sikhs took Mughals and all tyrants hard-handed. They had to abandon their houses, stay in jungles but they saved girls and money of other natives. this is a solid truth that they forcibly converted many into Muslims and you can find it when you read the history. The film Saka Sirhind also depicts the atrocities on Sikhs. There are numerous examples like those of Bhai Taru Singh, Bhai Mani Singh, Bhai Shahbaz Singh, Bhai Subeg Singh other than those of Sahibzadas.

Guru sahib said, "To you, it is yours, and to me it is mine." So, instead of being intolerating, just give heed to your own path.
