He's saying that the only way to get rid of the timeline is to close your Facebook account, but that most end up coming back (hence the "reactivate it in three days" joke). If you want to clean up the timeline, then check out Lifehacker's video called "How to Get Rid of Facebook Timeline". What you need to do is download an application for your internet browser called "Social Fixer". Search for it in Google.

what i do is deactivate the account then sign back in DONT CLICK ANYTHING copy the address. paste it in word or notepad or whatever. now since u did that click an any thing u want to view and u get the time line back. but the good thing is that you have the address from the old version. paste it in the address bar and BOOM you have it. dont delete the address in what ever u saved it in cuz then u have to do it all over again

@JRooy90 If you deactivate your account, no1 will see your account including you. So the timeline will be disabled. And if you Delete your account, it will be deleted permanent and there is no coming back from it. So, choose wisely.

Yeah I looked this up because I hate the timeline look, you can't find anything and the page always glitches up. However, if you have timeline it will tell you the exact day your Facebook was made and allow you to see the first posts you made on Facebook. I kinda wanna see all that stuff so I'd like to be able to switch to timeline for a few minutes so I can see all that then switch back but it doesn't look like it's that easy.
