I recorded it with my Samsung camera! hahaha

  • Nice time-lapse movie! smooth! Do you know you can make time-lpase movies with any camera with this device: (copy address to browser): tempusALL.bymac.org

Works with ANY camera! cool :P

  • I'm gonna miss you, Shuttle....

  • That last shot is so badass

  • Makes Star Wars look like the Muppet Show

    KEEP ON TRUCKIN' NASA

  • cool movie!! good platform

  • It's a little surprising to see the shuttle in such detail and see the 'wear and tear' on the outside of it. That's not something you normally see. Kudos to the entire program. Oh, and great video!!

  • cool

  • my dad just retired from there a year ago. I can't believe we are losing this to be shot up by Russians and pay them to do it! AAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!

  • Dont freak out like I did...the sound starts @3:10!!!! wow. lol

    Great video!

  • For having the space program in my backyard, I never saw how much went into a shuttle mission until I saw this video.

  • awsom

  • Watched this video while listening to "Ride Of The Valkyries" from Apocalypse Now. Just got an erection.

  • @FORD5000solo2001 funny and yet disturbing at the same time...lmao

  • @yetitracker lol, that was my intention. >:D

  • The scale and scope of some of that equipment is truly awe inspiring!

  • That was surprisingly relaxing.

  • humans = ants

  • Surfing on a rocket by Air

I had this playing randomly while watching this, fit perfectly!

  • Ultimate power rush!

  • This is a great video of one perhaps the most beautiful of pieces of engineering design ever made. I applaud you for sharing it with us.

  • Wow that's so cool!

  • i hate whenever i'm at the B flag and the shuttle launches. it always buzz kills me :(

  • @homiefromfl Not seeing anything resembling a person.

  • Beautiful!

  • America!

  • Interessant - Time-Lapse Video von einem Space-Shuttle vor dem start #nafb

  • does anyone know how heavy the shuttle is?

  • Better than any damn CGI.

  • cables, never have they been trusted so much

  • Really awesome!! Neat to see what happens before the launch

  • remember that lady astronaut who was in a love triangle a few years ago, she lost a few heat tiles during re-entry!

  • Awesome. Gonna miss this when its gone !!!!!

  • This is great to watch in one tab, and have the benny hill theme song in another...makes the video EVEN BETTER!

  • Very nice assembly of time lapsed cameras.

  • U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A!

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • This is fun even if you're not into space

  • Jet sound was added in

  • Why is thier a Jet sound when you see the overflight at the end? I thought the Shuttle only used engines for launch and re-entry and then glided on final approach?

  • @Stakker that's the sound of air being pushed around, I would imagine. In contrast to the sound a jet makes when it's flying at high speed, its engines are actually rather quiet.

  • @zeroangelmk1 Oh, I know that. It's a glider after re-entry.

  • when you pause it at 3:32

kinda looks like a stampede cloud of dust when you see a lot of cartoons

  • see sboisse.free.fr/technique/navette-discovery.php for many wonderful images of Discovery shuttle before launch

  • Did you see the underside of the wings when they were rolling it out of the hanger early in the video. What'r all those "pocks?"

  • @WannaMontana

Those pocks you mentioned, are where all the assorted debris, natural and man-made, has collided with the shuttle while it has been in use... I think. That's be my semi-educated guess.

  • How tall is that building? holy fuck!

  • @dobberdoss It's 525 feet tall, and in person it is absolutely breathtaking! Also, one can see it from miles away.

  • @spacebender The American flag on the side of it is 6 or 7 highway lanes wide. Put that into perspective when looking at a pic of it.

    Wowsers!

  • @spacebender On a cruise out of Port Canaveral, I could see the building from apx. 20 miles. It's an amazing building.

  • @spacebender you can see it from about 20 miles away on a clear day

  • @jman1948 you can see it from Orlando on a clear day and that's more than 20 miles. It is awesome! my father worked there and one day at work I decided to stay in and not watch because I had seen so many up close...it was Challenger. I never took them for granted again!
