It may be a little thing, but i love the attention to detail he puts into the sounds and atmospheres of scenes, such as the 'low machine-hum of power armour' being so loud a little human cant hear herself think, hah awesome :P. Great writer!

The First Heretic (which I am only halfway through and still reading now) is an absolute masterpiece. I'm REALLY looking forward to the World Eaters novel. Oh yeah and Night Lords does indeed kick ass.

I've been pestering the staff of my local GW retailer for a copy of Blood Reaver for months now. While waiting I read "The Core", a short story in the book Fear the Alien which features the Night Lords from Soul Hunter. "The Core" takes place after Blood Reaver, and it's only made me want the book more. Aaron is now my favorite writer, and I'm twitching with anticipation for Blood Reaver.

i picked up helsreach there a few weeks back and was super impressed by it he hits a lot of things about interactions between supposed allies like the black templars and the titan legions commanders etc just picked up first heretic the other day and it seems awesome so far even though i am only on pg 50 lol. :D mcNeil and him are my fav authors now and i guess ben counter and abnett too lol only because of the souldrinkers and malleus
