Why do extreme overclocked systems have to cooled down so much, i thought max temps for cpu's is around 70 c. Does extreme cold temps tie in superconductivity? Just curious?

@noezzi cpu's don't have a max temp, they can climb to what ever temp depending on their clock, its only recommended to run at that max before frying, that's why such freezing measures are required.

Paying the power bill must be a bitch!, my 2600K @ 4.7Ghz and 2 x GTX 570 will pull 1000W at the wall in graphics benchmarks, and about 800W in intense games. If I gamed on it all the time, I'd be paying through the ass in power, Lucky I study/ work. Still Nice Super computer, the 1336 sieries still is the fastest platform in real world tasks, its just so bloody expensive for what you get, I am a best bang for buck person, but I would dream of the above system, especially the mobo!
