@343GuiltysparkHALO (1)With the wings folded in,the plane is capable of achieving a higher speed. That happens for a real fighter jet but for a styrofoam rc plane,it is quite hard to see it.Moreover,KYOSHO made it that way so as to totally replicate the Panavia Tornado. The Panavia Tornado is considered as a variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft.(2)KYOSHO DF55 planes only have throttle, elevator and aileron control. It does not have rudder control.
@343GuiltysparkHALO The Panavia Tornado has elevon(combination of elevator and aileron). The rc plane is capable of performing any form of aerobatic moves that does not require the use of a rudder.(3)It would be great if there was rudder on this rc plane.Overall,I say that this rc plane is awesome.BTW,I am not related to "skyhobbies" in any way at all.I just happen to own the same plane from the video.Hope this helps.Bye.
@Sweden217 Since you have flown nitro trainer planes before, the Kyosho EDF(electric ducted fan) plane should be a piece of cake in terms of assembly and set-up. The only major difference is the speed and control(it is able to execute a full 360 degree aileron turn). When flying the plane for the first few times, I advise that you maintain the plane at a speed that you are comfortable with. Once you think that you are capable of controlling it at a higher speed, you can slowly increase the
@Sweden217 speed of it. Please keep in mind that during take-off (as for the Kyosho DF55, it has to be done by hand-launch), you need to give the plane full throttle. In conclusion, I think that you can get it.
can't you put some wheels on it?

great video ! love the plane
have some questions about the plane though
1. is there any difference in flight with the wings folded in? if so what is the diff
2. This plane only flies with the elevators correct? does this limit the plane in what it can pull off as far as manuvers goes?
3. Are there any things you dont like about the plane?

is it hard to fly this plane? I have flown nitro trainer planes before, so do you think I can get one of these then?
