In case the E's fucked your hearing as well as your brain, house of the type around in the '90's morphed in many directions. But no matter what you call it at least you can dance to it. In regards to your comment about E's, im guessing you're referring to the period in the 90's when everybody was bang on it. I was born in '91, so missed this, however I have been djing House & Garage for 6 years now and know enough about House to know that whatever direction it morphed in, House is still one of the leading forms of "Dance" music today!

Also, whatever way House morphed, its still called "House" today. What you said is like saying "Jazz was invented in the 1950's, but its not Jazz now". Trust me, lots of people, including myself still produce 90's sounding House & Garage!

And yes, it is VERY good to dance to.

I'd use dance as a generic term. So dance includes disco, house, techno, the first jazz, the first rock, polka, and all.

There have been lots of house records that deserved to be insulted after all :) This one is fine, It was in my playlist too.

Thats the reason I dont like the term Dance. Because people who know nothing about House call it Dance. Also hate House being called Dance because most people think of techno or trance when you say "dance music". I wouldnt say disco, "the first jazz" (or any kind of jazz for that matter!), or any kind of rock is Dance, for the simple fact that they were around before "dance music" even existed.
