Although it is very different from what most would consider Jazz, these guys were great. Thinking back they are the roots of my interest in jazz. a few years after this song came out I would take up guitar and start out learning metal/hard rock and branch out into blues then eventually jazz guitar about 10 years after the fact.

Like the Shuffle Demons I was not a purist. To this day, I still typically play hard rock, but with a jazzy sound to my solos.

You can't judge Canada off the antics of some free spirits who made a song about a bus route. Also, Spadina is an atypical street in Toronto with more midrise buildings from before WWII. Finally, this could never be in the U.S. because by that time almost every city scrapped its streetcar lines.

Decent reception on AM radio right after dark and in the morning right before I left for school. You also have a great system that makes sure the food you all get is clean. You also have great public affairs programming. And then there are the universities there.
