  • Mayne... I wouldn't mind taking lessons from her!

Cuz she's a good teacher heh heh.

  • Yawning helps too! =]

  • @M16TuB I know right! One time, I yawned while singing, and I noticed that my voice got stronger:D

  • @M16TuB Yeah it does, she has a warm up that is a yawning exercise.

  • If you are going to criticize her, then do the world a big favour and put your video up, and please show us how it's done. Otherwise watch and learn.

  • Thanks so much for sharing your expertise. You're helping to put more good song and music in the world!

  • I like your lessons, they are really helpful.

  • i can understand the warming up your body before you sing by doing some sort of exercise...but, your voice is a muscle? LOL

  • metaphor

  • ahaha [;

  • Thank you sooo much, Whenever I work out I always sound SO much better afterwards, and I am getting fit! :P

  • The title 'How to sing with your whole body' but she explained how you can stretch urself.. zzz

  • AWESOME :D

  • I Like You :)

  • I even like your voice when you talk. I take singing lessons. I have been for a while, and they really are nice, Some of the stretches relax you too.

  • can u give me like the piano notes plz & thnx!! <3

    ur videos rlly help

  • but what if you get tired of you warm up?

  • She is absolutely right. I have been singing all my life. Your body is your instrument. You absolutely use your whole body. Pro singers not only know this, but take excellent care of their health and stretch and warm up before singing.

  • a lap around the house? lol

  • I sometimes see my bro's gf sing and she just sits flat on her but in front of the t.v. and oversings so badly, the summit of a mountain scould topple over. ): She sings really goo but TOO MUCH vibrato.

  • Now I understand why my voice always sound better after I workout.

  • Very good lessons, :)

  • I have been watching all videos of this red dressing lady :)

To have such niceeee videos in youtube is a very very great chance for me.

Thank you alot, if you were not, I would spend too much money.

And one thing: if you want to make your best, you must spend big time, more than 1 minut..

  • man i hit that

  • One thing that should be noted, the more blood that flows = the more oxygen then gets to the muscles (the larynx, in this case) which provides a better functioning of the given muscle. I think thats more or less the point of this video.

  • I FARTED WEN I WAS STRETCHING =[

  • Comment removed

  • hahahahahhahaha

    That was funnzy

  • she is helping and if you dont think soo then go to school because she is right

your vocal cords just like every other musel is your body . so maybe think a little!

  • Oo ?? i have to do stretching for a "warm up voice" ?

  • Have you EVER been in choir? Our PHYSICAL warm ups in my choir are about fifteen minutes long.

  • No, never

but i think fifteen minutes arent too long, i think i try it before i sing anything next time

  • who need 15 minutes of warm ups when your from expert village..I'm to expert to waste 15 when i can do it in 1 minute..

  • wow...

If you WERE a musician, you wouldn't have said that.

Professionals don't even TALK the day of a warm concert...

and yeah, faizhubbard is right; it IS a muscle, and it takes more than a minute.

You just don't appreciate your voice; and for that, I am sorry.

  • @RandBhawkins Like you know anything about singing. And yeah, professionals do talk.

  • @Hathelikov I made that comment a year ago...The Professional i was talking about was Celine Dion. Unfortunatly, most people talk all the time even if they are singers. I am repeating what my voice teacher told me and that was to talk, yell, and cough less. It would keep my vocal chords smoother. hence, Celine Dions flawless vocals. I don't know ALOT compared to a music major alot but I was in my High Schools top Accapella group (TOPNOTCHERS) and I can read music. I think I know a thing or two.

  • @RandBhawkins Okay, yeah, whatever. I've been singing pro since I was two, I've been singing with real live singers like Amy Lee, (I met them :D) and lessons since 7 years old. I'm 15 now. I'm not in some stupid choir.

  • @Hathelikov And you act like it. Im not going to argue with a 15 year old. I have nothing to prove. I know what's good for my voice and you know what's good for yours. :)

  • @RandBhawkins Okay :P

  • wow

    then why are you

    even watching this

    if its such a waste

    of time

    your kinda wasteing your

time posting & watching this video

    Fricken retard

  • 1:00

    I jizzed in my pants,

  • i get wat ur saying but this doesn't help anyone to know HOW TO SING WITH THEIR WHOLE BODY..it's not recommended or almost not necessary to even stretch out before you sing but it could help..anywho to sing with your whole body--> take a large amount (not so much that you can't use it all) of breath and think of your body as if you were floating, that feeling as if you were going to rise on your toe and just sing! this helps you to sing 100% of your voice/breath

  • Your voice is not a muscle! u id*ot! Don't teach wrong

  • obviously if you knew any better you'd know she meant that your voice uses muscles. duh, who's the idiot now, idiot.

  • What do you mean with with idiot?? Why would you say what i should have known before i write it? You can be the idiot =) duuhh

  • the voice isnt but the larynx is. That's what was meant.

  • do you believe it is possible to learn how to sing or it is something you are born with?

  • Hey,

I believe you could learn to sing if you went 2 voice lessons. Some people have natural talent and some ppl need voice teachers.

  • how do you make your voice go up and down like hayley in "decode" (paramore)

  • When you ask How to make your voice go up and down like Hayley's, what do you mean? Are you refering to her pitch changes, vibrato, or somthing else, cuz I love her voice, I use her song like Hallelujuh to warm up , I'd like to help you, but I just need clarification.

  • like when she says "well" during "how did we get here, when i used to know you so weeeeeeeellllllllllll..."

it goes up and down sorta

  • glad everyone enjoys my video. to address some recurring comments. Yes, all the videos were filmed in one day. No, the vocal chord is not muscle but my point was that we should think of it like a muscle in that it needs to warm up and we need to work it out carefully. Glad it has helped many of you. these are just some quick tips that I've learned that have helped other singers too. Best of luck to everyone and sing your heart out! - Larissa Lam

  • The vocal cord is muscle, amoung other things, even small children know this. Invest in some education already. Why is it so hard for you to learn about the voice?

  • just an observation...hmmm, why does she have the same top on all vid?? hmmmm, juz wondering...

  • She could have been recording all the vids in one day...

  • true, u've got a point there...

  • I sing best after practicing yoga... in yoga the breathing is similar to in proper breathing in singing.

When I sing... I get the same happy, relaxed feeling as I do after a yoga session.

Someone should start a yoga singing class! lol

    XxSarah

  • These videos you made are very helpful

  • You're also pretty and you can dress too.

  • i wannA SING ANYWAYS

  • I love you!

  • these are awesome!

dont listen to these mean people.

You KNOW what your doing and

    they dont! haha

great videos! you should make more!

    (:

  • why is this comment marked as spam? i have no idea. to all the people with doubts- yes, someone who is serious about singing and serious about sounding their best and not hurting their vocal chords will do warm ups before they perform.

  • wow u are awesome.......when i win my first tony..lol...ill thank you

  • yeahh chick en will all be the ones laughing at you when you kill yur voice cause you were acting stupid en thinking you were better than her when she knows what shes doing

  • that running does actually work, ask any speech teacher ^^; it releases chemicals in your body which give you energy which could make you nervous or excited if you use it right ;P

  • can be seen you really need to read some literature about singing...

  • totally agree! i notice that i am better able to hit the high notes after running! weird, huh??

  • thank you

  • Grammar, people. Don't say "your and idiot" if you can't tell the difference between the words "you're" and "your".

    The irony hurts.

  • okay great thanks.

  • haha

If youyr voice was a muscle and you took wieght gaining supplements it would be cool if you could sing deeper.

    -_-

  • Oh Pls...She posted here for people to learn...Not her to show off her clothes or accessories or Whatever....Your suppose to Watch this for you to learn Not to Criticize Her...GoSh THis peoPle

  • your awesome keep it up

  • Maybe she doesn't change her clothes...

Cause she filmed it in the same day?

    Dah dah dah xD

  • she didn't touches her toes she touches the floor!!! =) BUt I love her works!!! i really do!!!

  • your a dumba#@..

let me guess, your in a hair metal band,,

SHE RECORDED IT ALLIN ONE DAY ..

    mr spandex...or mrs spandex

  • OMG, u r da cattle. She recorded it in one day... Ur so cattle u cant even think on ur own!

  • Before shows, me and my band go outside and run around to get pumped up and emotionally ready to go on stage.

    But exercising will help.

And what she says about the voice being a muscle.

Thats wrong! There are muscles around your cords that affect singing but your cords arent muscles. If they were you'd have to work them one day, and rest the next so the muscles could grow back, just like weight lifting.

  • yup that works 2222

  • Cool.. The stuff makes sense..!!!

  • yeah Cuz I've noticed that my voice is clearer after I do physical exercise.

  • but u have to find your body rythem well in the end pratice make perfect

  • Thanks alot!!!!THANKS A MILLION,MISS SWEETY^O^ U r so kind!!!May GOD BLESS U!!I want to be singer even I am beginner.I learn more and got improved viz ur video clip, thanks alot!!!!I appreciated it!is it good to be singer??Got good future?
