  • 0:11-0:18 sounds familiar.

  • I have a video of this amazing song! If you want to watch I invite to go to my channel. The video is a little montage that I made with the official video of "Mamma Mia", but with this great song.

  • If you want you can watch my videos about ABBA. I have interviews, songs that never anyone heard about it, montages and funny videos.

  • I can't believe they never officially released this. :( Its sooo goood.

  • The girl in The Day Before You Came. It is remarkable the way they blend such clever lyrics with a smooth melody. Even with a lot of words and heavy rhyming, the recurring sounds do not interfere with the emotion or idea of the song. Agnetha delivers that yearning, aching feeling, sharing both her triumphs and disappointments. The women in ABBA's songs cherish their private lives. They guard secrets, and it is by these secrets, probably sexual, that they identify their innermost selves.

  • Do any of you realize that this is only one of 3 versions of the song that are out there? This is what's known as the ''Slow Version''. The 2nd is the ''Na Na Na Version'' where Agnetha sings ''Na na na...'' in the intro & instrumental breaks. The 3rd version is the so-called ''Sax Mix'' featuring Raphael Ravenscroft, best known for the saxophone solo on ''Baker Street''. Also, 0:11-0:18 = Under Attack (Don't know how to take it, don't know where to go. My resistance running low...).

  • As far as I know, the album would have been called "Opus 10", and it probably would have fatured songs like 'the day before you came', 'under attack', 'just like that', 'cassandra', 'you owe me one' , 'every good man' and 'another you another me'. What a pity it never got pressed.

  • @TheColinChapman 'Opus 10' is a complete myth and the title is taken from a much misquoted interview that ABBA gave when recording 'The Visitors' in 1981. There was due to be an album in 1982, it even had a catalogue number assigned to it (POLS 352) but plans were quickly changed. 'Every good man' was always intended for Chess, never ABBA. B&B just used Agnetha for the demo. 'Another You Another Me' was also always intended for Karin Glenmark and wasnt even recorded until 1985.

  • @discogareth Thank you for clearing that up. In fact it's recorded on wikipedia that 'Over You' was supposed to be the title of the 1982 album that is referred to as 'Opus 10' (I don't know how accurate this is, but where it could have come from otherwise?) But as far as I see, the biggest problem with this news being true (if it is) is that NO SONG called 'Over You' (whose existence is claimed in the same article) exists on youtube; there's never even been a snippet released yet!

  • @TheMjblades No idea where that title came from. As far as I know it was never a working title for any of ABBA's released recordings and there seems to be no known Chess demos with that title either. Just incase you didnt know, anyone can edit wikipedia, even you or me. Total crap gets posted all the time. When it came to album titles, ABBA decided these at the very last minute. As there is no 1982 album, there would be no title for it. Hope this helps.

  • @discogareth @TheMjblades There's actually a snippet of a song called "Crying over You" in ABBA Undeleted. Whoever wrote the stuff about "Over You" might've been referring to that but forgot the extra word. I never heard anything about it being the working title of their 9th album though, so that part probably is rubbish, especially since it was recorded closer to Voulez-Vous. I actually read on Wiki that "Out of Sight" was the early title (as well as a demo song), but that's probably crap too.

  • Different version of this song I have heard, but this seems to be the best of them. Excellent quality - tyvm for posting

  • Just like that He walked into my house As smug as a cat He was handsome and smart Walked away with my heart Just like that He found a temporary home in my flat Telling innocent lies Throwing dust in my eyes But, I led him on Knowing that someday soon he would be gone...
  • more more more........my heart crying. more more mooooooooooooooooore...

  • Ohh I ♥ this song..........but its from a uncompleted ABBA album its sooooooo sad..............

  • Has someone steal the tapes from Björn's car? It's stunning and exaspearating! Many years ago someone stole many things from our car - Trabant :) - too, I understand his plight. They weren't so expensive things, but I don't say we came off well of this case. But in everything bad there's something good: It's really good song! Thanks for uploadnig!

  • An uncompleted ABBA album....how sad!

  • Come over to my channel and FINISH WHAT B&B NEVER DID ... Abba's 9th album. I't's a chance to be a record producer. Spread the word and send a loud message to B&B to give us all MORE MUSIC. See ya ... Ivy Smith (Ohio, USA)

  • Lovely quality!
