I was only pointing out that in 1979 West German was allied with NATO (US, Eng., France, etc) and East Germany was part of the Warsaw Pact, allied with the Soviet Union. So I find it odd, possibly intentionally ironic, that this was sung by a West German group in the middle of the cold war. Still an awesome song.
