  • Remember this. Scientific and analytic knowledge is only a portion of human knowledge.Muscles generate strength. This is a given but another strength is derived from one's chi skillfully and patiently cultivated combined with a sense of balance. The energy is demonstrated by this old gentleman. At his age he no longer has your or my vanity to put on a fake show. He is genuie and real. Respect him that much.

  • @david1234lee Look at him.. He's not putting on a show at all fake or not.. He's playing.. He's not trying to get people to to admire him, he's just being goofy as only an old Bagua guy can. Chinese love to make fun of themselves by over-exaggerating to the point of absurdity.. With proper body alignment, good timing and core strength a lot can be accomplished.. But he is not throwing that guy up in the air with his deltoids or magic.. It's play pure and simple.

  • @mattmcan

I think you are wrong to some extent. I like your comment, though. Ba means 8; Gua,divinity or fore-knowlwdge of one's fate or events to come. Ba-gua is really portion of "The Book of Change" based on Ying and Yang. It is a binary system that spins out a macrocosmic as well as a corresponding microcomic structure. When it deals with ying and yang, it deals with a different power strength and a power to forcast. When you make contact, the master reverse your strength against you.

  • @david1234lee "八卦" (bāguà) also means "gossip" in Chinese.

  • @GaolisVideoLog

I guess "gossip" was derived from the fact that people in old days and even in the present use "Baqua" in fortune telling or other forms of divination, thus becoming random talk with no substance to validate. But the "baqua" here seems to indicate that the practitioners have foresight of the oncoming forces and thus dissipate them in a timely manner.

  • Supper good. All Taiji Bagua Xingyi look for doing the same stuff.

  • I guess have to learn chinesse.

  • The old master show his internal sinking and mind extending. So hand and arm only have tiny little move with whole body together which hard to see. He is real master. I can understand all my teacher told me from his demo

    Great!

  • This old dude loves watching action movies, he also loves the camera...he's going through what we call an ego trip.

  • I'm skeptical, but than again I haven't experienced this mans energy. To my eye I can't really see him move when he wards off people. Than again I've been training very basic Bagua for over 2 years now and intermediate TaiChi for longer and it enabled me to just finish 45 hours of very advanced Aikido training with some Judo NeWaza for fun, in 6 days without excessive soreness or injury. so I can see tangible results from intense energy and movement work I didn't have 2,3 years ago @ Aikido camp

  • @CFgroup1 If you can't see the rooted powerful way he uses subtle movement to discharge his partners, then it's possible your Taiji skill may not be intermediate after all.. Still, the fact you're gaining such great health results might suggest otherwise ;)

  • a rare treasure!!!!!! thank you for sharing

  • please put translation

  • Your right. Check out Gary lam Taiji in YouTube this is my master taoss me out on the second clip push hand demo

  • Is this Jing?

  • @2patero It's fajing, or issuing power. There is an old saying - power is rooted in the feet, developed in the legs, directed by the waist, and expressed through the hands. The lower body is yang and the upper body yin. In western terms, it's a kinetic chain, from the ground up. If it's expressed in a long wave, the attacker goes flying away. If it's a short wave, the issuing power can be much more devastating and the vibration to the attacker internally can potentially rupture internal organs.

  • That is amazing

  • he sounds like the swedish chef

  • anywhere to watch this subbed in english? would love to hear what he's saying :O thanks for sharing this tho

  • I study Aikido and we were doing something similar a few weeks back. A person would grab the wrist or anywhere on the arm and just by touching your own head or chest or even putting your hand in your pocket. The person couldn't stop you from doing it. It's isometric body structure. Most people never get past force on force and they always play in that paradigm and never advance.

  • beautiful and amazing

  • Can someone put a translation on this video.

    That would be great.

  • Almost like aiki...

  • @jung567 I would say not quite, but similar in essence.

  • @MrAdamWu I see...

  • Anyone who doesn't believe in this video needs to get shot with shotgunn....

  • @bigfatdick5000

Anyone who believes this garbage should get slapped with a big fat dick.

  • Simply beautiful!

  • Great demo for yin yang positioning. Bagua, xingyi, Taiji is one family internal kongfu, I met hong's family Bagua master in Beijing can do the same thing. Master not only position body right and also position mind in the right position, some time mind empty, sometime body empty. This is high level mind and body cordination.

  • Great internal power, root and peng jin! I've seen something similar, yet applied in a more explosive way, to damage an opponent:

    watch?v=4NCLIjWhCTU&feature=channel_video_title

  • reflects a wrong message. people should take this serious.

soon we have 100 year old's floating in the air! keep it real..... that's my message

  • The old man is using positioning and counter-balance to find the trick send-off point. notice how he massages his partner into the exact stance he requires to execute the final send off. amazing yes, but the falling man is doing 99% of the work based on his body position. the old man is not exceptionally strong, his trick is in how he positions his partner before sending him flying, and its a damn good trick.

  • Is this ba gua? i have masters in tai chi doing something similar....

  • They are not exaggerating their reactions. The old master is using a relaxed, connected body from the ground, through his dantien and spine, and out his arms. It's subtle and soft power that doesn't diminish with age.

  • @bamboosera Look at 1:47 to 1:57, they are exaggerating their reactions... Likely out of respect, which is to be expected. You're right though that his form is connected and when he was flexible enough to position his body properly he was likely a force to be reckoned with.

  • This master is very old and probably doesn't bring great power anymore. They show exaggerated reaction to his power out of respect, as is the Chinese custom. The miracle is that he brings his power in such an invisible way. This shows that his bagua tradition has the training methods that will produce the highest level of skill

  • He's cool. He actually zapped the people.

  • lol the older asains get the more they look like Goldfish. ^_^

  • sounds like he's saying "you with me?" at 1:12-1:14

  • what is he doin to them?

  • FOR THE IDIOT THAT WAS SAYING THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE FLESH...SMACK YOURSELF.

THE ONLY REASON THING LIKE THIS DEMONSTRATION ARE "REAL" IS IN SPIRIT.

THE FLESH IS JUST THE COVER OF THINGS THAT NO MAN OF THIS EARTH, EXCEPT ONE(ONES) WAS SENT BY THE HOLY SPIRIT...OR HAS KNOWLEDGE OF THINGS OUTSIDE OF THIS EARTH SHOULD TRY TO DISCLOSE.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE RELIGIOUS, I'M NOT!

BUT, THE SPIRIT MANIFEST ITSELF, THOSE OF GOOD AND THOSE OF BAD...

OBVIOUSLY IT IS MORE THAN POSSIBLE HE CAN MOVE W/ INT

  • @YESSAYME Who here said it's BECAUSEof the flesh! But the body plays a part in it. Intention and spirit leads, and the body is the vessel for transporting power into another person. Why are you hating on those who try to demystify internal power? You said it yourself: "NO MAN [...] SHOULD TRY TO DISCLOSE [SPIRITUAL MATTERS]". Good people here are trying to keep it scientific, so that even MMA boneheads can understand it, and you're just talking' woodoo, givning all internal artists a bad name!

  • @YESSAYME And we're not just ghosts with dead meat attached! No! The body is a living organism, interacting on every level with the chi, mind and spirit! When you feel the chi from doing your 8 winds tea cups form: Did it never ocur to you that this exersice stimulates synovial fluid, blood flow, stretches tendons, and promotes chi flow through the entire spine, and that this may also contribute somewhat to you're feeling great afterwards? Body-mind-spirit work together, it's not just one sided!

  • O_O that old guy is FREAKING AWESOME!!!! he can disrupt a person's center of gravity with the slightest movement!!! i wish i learned mandarin...

  • @Rsuru it,s not himdoing that alone it,s chi gong//ghost kung fu

he ussess hi,s chii and thatss very verry powerful

  • i dont believe this video

    especially at 1:45 -*-

  • @ThirdEyeLight I think there's something here. I think it's pretty helpful.

  • Comment removed

  • But since you clearly dont get it, I'll try one more time to demystify this for you: Because of the the way muscle tissue work on a microscopic level, they can develop larger force when just holding position or being stretched than when being flexed. Internal training teaches you to exploit this by compressing your body into the ground, like a spring -more or less. While I respect the fighting abilities of the MMA crew, I find internal training has a more long lasting health and strength effect.

  • @piaten can u type out what i can search for the research u were talking about.i think u did but it is showed as spam.i am quite interested in how u explained it and would like to learn more, thank u

  • I take it then you didn't even bother to look up any of the research I mentioned -that's pathetically biased, almost superstitious! What I'm talking about is mostly research on how the muscles and connective tissue actually work to create the most physical force. I'm talking about physical, tangible issues here. What that "chi master" you're referring to did was completely different. That was psychological manipulation hocus pocus, whereas this is mostly physical. Do your research, or shut up!

  • @piaten It is soo easy to go on and criticise what one does not fully understand. I have been loking ionto the martial arts for years. I have experienced practical demonstration of internal Kung Fu. This is for real. Not hocus pocus. Don't so quick to dismiss eastern ways. The world was dominated by the east for 18 of the last 20 centuries. Not all that you don't understand or believe is false.

  • @MrWatcher101 Please, Mr. Watcher, next time you comment, take the time to figure out what's actually being said!! We're on the same team here, for crying out loud! My comment was part of a debate further down here: I was trying to explain the physical workings of peng jin to an induhvidual who was too set in his superstition, namely the common superstition that current western sports science has anything but a basic understanding of how the human body works..

  • @MrWatcher101 And havn't you noticed, all these skeptics, who pretend to wage war on superstition and "humbug", are every bit as superstitious, dogmatic and prejudiced as the ones they're attacking, it's just a different kind of superstition: Believing that everything that can't be quantified with science's limited methods is not real. WE are the ones following an empirical, scientific approach, NOT the skeptics! So next time you see words like science or research, don't be so quick to assume!!

  • @piaten also well said. I think the comment issue was little more than misunderstanding. Scientific communities do have a big issue with the idea of 'If we cant figure it out, its false.' Nothing could be further from the truth at times.

  • @Bastion83 Uh, that's not science then. Science is always falsifiable by observation. We still haven't figured out all the mysteries of the human body yet. If we did, aging would be nothing but a curable disease

  • @MrWatcher101 well said. There are things the west dismissed when introduced to theories the chinese had established for some time, methinks largely due to racial bs perhaps. I too have been studying martial arts(though mainly external forms of kung fu) and I have also felt the effect of a few strikes that science cant figure out.

  • @piaten Qi is not hocus pocus! ridiculing is not a creative criticism

  • @nmpost7 I never said chi is hocus pocus! Quite the contrary, chi is very real, as is this 94 year old master! My comment was part of a debate further down here, where a comparison was made between this video and one of the con-men of the trade (yes, there are quite a few of them around also). Please take the time to figure out what's actually being said before jumping to conclusions!

  • @piaten Well, I did not jump to conclusions. I just commented on the sentence, that was all. As that sentence did not imply the con-men directly, I failed to understand the connection. However, I do hope, I did not sound harsh and apologise, if my words came across as such. You are certainly right. There are con-men! And quite a few of them, that spoil the general picture. Thank you for the clarification.

  • @nmpost7 No problem man! I guess these kinda misunderstandings happen a lot when the voting system causes a comment to appear out of context.

  • @piaten You don't even know what Chi is!!

  • @TheCarlo58 Why is it everyone assumes I'm a skeptic, just because I have an empirical, scientific attitude, and use words like "research", "faciae", etc?! There's plenty of scientific surveys confirming the existence of chi. Anyone who denying chi is a reality are the un-scientific ones, not us! Read the entire comment thread, and or at least figure out what I'm actually saying, before making wild assumptions!

  • what exactly is the man doing??? its like hes doing magic or something its quite incredible

  • @AquariusKas the old man is using his chi- inner energy on the people grabbing his arm, its not magic everybody has chi u just need to train yourself to manipulate it. you wouldnt wana piss this guy off if he was a few years younger

  • @poddotk What are you talking about! Everyone can have an opinion, but unless you can put forth some relevant argument supporting it, you wanna keep it away from the public! I don't comment on finance or plumbing, cause I don't know anything about it, and thus my opinion on these matters would be worthless. And since you dont know anything about IMA, and don't even try to educate yourself, preferring to stay within your own prejudice, you too, should keep your mouth shut and hide your ignorance!

  • This is fake, kungfu is not dragonball. He doesnt have to push with strenght but the man didn't even move. So don't say it's real because you just don't know.

  • @paddotk there is this energy inside every1 called chi, hes not pushing with his muscles hes using chi

  • @MDNSBS i know all about it. But chi has to flow through your body by means of movement, not standing completely still. I know muscle power hasn't got to do anything with this, that's why i used dragonball as an example.

  • @paddotk Pardon my manners, but obviously you know nothing about tendon power, connective tissue, the force-velocity curve, peng jin, root and subtle movement called opening and closing, among others! Do your homework, and if you still think it's fake, well -fine. Just don't pollute the internet with your ill informed karate-kid ideas about things which you know nothing about, much less ever experienced first hand! Hint: What is the difference between piston power and spring/elastic power?

  • @piaten i don't see what your manners have got to do with this but it's you who's seen to many movies. And im not a biologist, neither is my english fluent. So stop trowing words like piston and peng jin please.

  • @piaten google, isn't that a kind of pie??? Of course i know what it is. And "aren't entitled to have an opinion" ==> says who?? Are you entitled to decide that for me??

  • @piaten Abusing your lexicon doesn't make you seem like an intellectual, it makes you seem like an ass. Show me an example of chi being used against a trained fighter who doesn't believe in chi. Say, someone from K1 or even UFC being affected by a persons 'chi' in a fight situation. Until then this is just suggestive thinking and the power of the mind of the person affected. Remember when the chi fighting 'master' challenged a mixed martial artist? We all know how that went down.

  • real

  • REAL

  • Fake

  • @MondoOlografico to what benefit would these people have to fake a youtube video?

  • Please, could somebody translate this into english? For me this stuff is obviously real, it's easy to say it is. There are a lot of things going that you can't see, and maybe this master is explaining them. This is real internal power. No doubt. Thanks for sharing this video. Just watching it, gives hope to continue training.

  • @rudocurtir lolhahaha, my dear I believe you are lucky that you can see it without knowing the interpretation, first it was not meant for you, second you will

know it soon or later, third it does not matter because all roads lead to the mountain If you want to go to the mountain.

  • Felicidades, muy bien.

  • Please put some subtitles to this, so that the rare opportunity of learning from such a valuable source of knowledge and experience does not pass by all who may watch this, which would be tragic for this old man to get to his age and reach an audience the size of youtube only for the language barrier to prevent him being understood.

  • @thrillseeker70 I agree.

  • Face the power of chi!

  • it's monk geotzo.....sorry

  • i bet he busts some powerful nuts

  • THIS IS REAL.

A BAGUA MASTER DEMONSTRATED THIS TO ME THE OTHER DAY, NOT AS POWERFUL AS THIS MAN, BUT I CAN FEEL THE CHI GENERATING FROM HIS ARM AS I AM TOUCHING HIM, YEARS OF REFINEMENT ALLOWS CHI TO BE EMITTED *ANYWHERE* FROM HIS BODY WHERE HE DESIRES.

  • Kick me in the jimmy!! YES!

  • I dont get it

  • @minasz And I don't get astrophysics, but still the planets and stars float around there in space, don't they!? As all geniality, this stuff is based on very simple natural principles, yet it is also extremely difficult to accomplish, especially at this level.

  • i dont get it

  • @danielsan05 Of course you don't! I'm not a mathematician, so I don't understand maths (beyond the basic level). Study and research is the key to understanding.

  • The best way is to experience it yourself.

  • Đến bao giờ mình mới đạt đến trình độ này đây ^!!

  • If anyone had a brain, they could realise that everyone is pushing themselves backwards.

    Get good trash

  • 這就是所謂的暗勁嗎?大開眼界了。

  • So many people look at videos like this and say "Fake!" Well let me ask them something, Have any of the skeptics on youtube tried it for themselves? Have they tried to read or research what Chi is? Have they tried to find a credible master who can give them insight on Chi? I don't think many of thsese people have. They all sit and watch a youtube video and judge without trying it themselves. It may look fake to them, but what about the people that are experiencing it?

  • Well, warriors might be old. But remember everyone, the oldest tree in the forest is always the strongest and wisest.

  • my taiji teachers was among the audience

    This grand master was amazing

he has been through a lot in the turbulent years in China's contemporary history

    A legend

  • Is that guy for real? How come it looks so fake?

  • @kaninas

It looks fake cuz you are sooooooooooooo stupid. Ba wa ha ha haha haha haa

Only MMA is real, huh???? Ba wa ha haha

  • @theangelrules007 Really? I think it looks real to you cause u have a brain the size of a peanut.

  • @kaninas

Hey, aren't you the girl or GAY whose mother kicked her repeatedly between the legs for hours on end after seeing you???

Yeah, ba wa ha ha go back and play girlie BJJ with your GAyY boyfriends...

  • 痴膠花

  • I realize there are 446 comments from I'm sure well practised and learned tai chi chuan and push hands masters but can anyone give me a translation rather than youtube fightinG? i'd be interested to here his explanation

  • u dont need to know martial arts to live 100 years. this means nothing

  • posture...right?

  • Notice that anytime someone flies off from the master, they are "flying" from their body first, not from pushing off with their hands. This master makes them move by disrupting their center, from his center. To do that he is well centered and relaxed, allowing the force to evenly distribute throughout his body, otherwise the force will get stuck at the points of tension, and then he would only be able to rely on brute strength. This type of body awareness happens to be great for chi flow too.

  • The Prob here is, there is no independant confirmation of this chi power effecting these guys in this way ... I wont say its fake cause i have seen shaolin monks balance on spears and place spear point on throat and break it by walking into it, and whole alot more, not nowing how it works for me isnt criteria to it being fake ...

  • @TheSirSneaky Shaolin monks use plain old circus tricks, like the old-time western strongmen.

  • @CarNikolaj

Yes some are circus tricks, and some are genuine, like the spear point at throat, abs shoulders and being listed up, and try balancing ur self on one finger,

  • @TheSirSneaky The spear point at throat is a circus trick. And balancing yourself on two fingers is, well, strong fingers. How is that different from the things shown in the circus or by professional magicians? Exactly how is it different from a man walking on a thin rope high above a square?

  • @CarNikolaj

I would like you to show me how its done, by putting a a spear on ur neck and let me push it ...

  • @TheSirSneaky Well, I've seen a porn movie before and still I don't want you to show me how do you suck dick, do I? For such tricks, find someone qualified - a circus performer, for example! And next time, try to walk thru the great wall of China.

  • @CarNikolaj on fight science someone demonstrated the spear to neck thing and at 2900 pounds of pressure it didnt puncture. Now thats no trick.

  • @NationOfJames Really? Then what is it? BTW: A lousy strongman from my home town pushes a car using a spear in his neck, don't know or care how much pressure that is...

What exactly are you trying to prove or accomplish? Holding a spear in the throat is a circus trick, and belongs to the circus. It has nothing whatsoever to do with fighting skill.

  • I really like to reach this level, but i don't even have a chinese master jaja, so i can only hope some day i can meet one, mean while y continue practice tai ji quan and chan quan who knows may when i have 94 i can do it XD, if not i will be glad if it let me tie my own shoes, kneel or walk by myself i think health is the best that wushu give to us

  • Its very interresting when people shouting out 'fake' and 'rofl' and that crap. this is also not ignorance, it's simply that these people are too stupid so see behind the curtain. they simply don't know what is the essence of taiji chuan or bagua zhang and all other 'internal' martial arts that have simply a different approach than external martial arts like karate or some kung-fu styles or tekwondo. these external martial arts are well known (also from trash movies) cause you CAN SEE the force.

  • Qi is the 100% real lifeforce flowing through all people. If you're as old as this guy, then you've had plenty of time to train and build your qi. He accomplishes the things in this video by leading his qi up from dantian and up his spine, then out through his arms. This adds so much power to the push that he barely has to move at all. The other guy, however flies back because of his horrible posture.

  • dificult cuestion that of Chi. I suspect that the power of the chi has a reason may be a kind of applied physics, some times is more magical than other becouse they don't even move. Many videos exist showing almost the same effect, but again they can be just be copies of the same lie, however we know that they climb on spears and razors. i think that is a thing you have to experiment in person so you know if is real of fake

  • @adielov1 I think you know that experiment "Newton's Cradle"

the last ball gets flying away where the ball next to it doesn't move. so maybe this is some kind of 'injected' force that you can't see like that balls in the middle that does not move.

  • oh, yes i know that experiment, the first ball has to be moved by a person

and then it doesn't stop to move, the cuestion in the matter of chi is where this

first force come? what do you think? . I really think that everithing in the universe

can be explained in cientific terms, not dogmatism, indeed i don't denied and

eventually the cuestion of chi will be answered and explained

  • Laughing my ass off here! I recognize the value of internal wushu, but this was like what the frack?

  • I know it's true because I have experienced it myself.

  • the principle is right but too enlargement.

    martial art is religious

  • who is this old man?

  • Lol, idk what other things you skeptics would brought up, but have you guys skeptics ever thought of why do a 94 year-old old man act in a fake video? What does he do it for?

about 1.35---> i think i can see clearly the old man's body attempts to push the guy in white out. And if it is really fake, then the guy in white must have superhuman sense & reflect

  • @zero061192 1:34 yeeeeees, the force is strong in this one

  • 1:35 come on give me a break! fake!!

  • @bollowski Hi Bollow,

True it is challenging to discover if this is true or false and often what is shared is false, but to not investigate what may be and say everything you do not understand is fake may actually have you missing some truly amazing and precious lessons. A true seeker is open but critical, and occasionally discovers something that helps them step further and faster along their path. Regards MrD =)

  • @bollowski

On what do you base that? your own experience?

  • Beyond that, I have no clue, and am honest enough to realized that physics knows little more about reality than ancient chinese theory, especially if what humans choose to believe trigures the outcome, which if true, simply means science is nothing more than a figment of imagination, a consensus reached by modern man, and part of the great dream much like the rest of human existence. Of course, I find many of physics conclusions gradually approaching many of the ancient theories.

  • Yi guides the chi, which guides the body... the chi being a low voltage energy network that moves through the ligaments, tendons, and bones, measured and documented by NIH in the 70's and theorized to be part of the immune system, like a negative biofeedback loop, which when broken trigures localized healing.

  • Well now, I don't see anything "invisible" but I do see movement of the feet that indicates possibility of subtle jumping away, so it could be faked ... and it would be silly to declare otherwise, but that does not take away from what I said earlier about the meridians and the energy flows.

  • What phenomenal skill.

  • 1:09-1:10

You can see an "invisible energy repulse wave" suddenly generated from the old man's arms pushed his 2 students away. Their "body" got "squeezed back" first by the energy wave, and *then* their feet off the ground and bounced back. You can''t just jump and fake it like that.

  • Physics is a part of it, but there is also a current that moves through the body. With intent, that current guides precise motion, or physics. Some would call the current magic, but I don't think so. Just something not fully understood, though indirectly documented as zones in the body with lower resistance to electrical flow -- which just happen to follow the chinese meridian system.

  • When you do an internal art for 80 years or more it is like the intent to tie your shoe. When you want to tie your shoe, you don't think "loop this here, do this, do that" you just do it. Your body knows the way top do it efficiently. Internal martial arts is like that - qi seems mysterious. It isn't magic, just physics. It only takes a couple pounds of pressure properly applied to send an opponent off balance.

  • condoglianze RIP

  • Baguazhang will help develop many muscles that you do not even normally use, which in turn helps support your organs. Normally, we walk lazily on artificially flat surfaces and let gravity do most of the work as our legs swing forward like pendulums, not using many of our muscles. Bagua helps with developing these muscles and expanding lung capacity. "Chi", properly understood, is just physics--proper balance, timing, leverage and breathing. It's not some secret energy.

  • @ZhuangziZhou

Chi does exist. It is the internal force that enables masters to endure blows to vital spots or heavily maim a person with a single strike. It won't work if we keep on viewing it with typical western paradigm.

  • Please study things of this matter before you judge. Of course you people don't get it. You spend your time smoking cigarettes and eating McDonalds. I have been Training Hsing i/Qi Gong extensively for a little over a year now, I train 30 hours a week., I am by no means an expert maybe not even intermediate but let me be the first to tell you I would happily fight anyone who doesn't believe this is real.

  • Simple physics applied with masterful skill to the complex structure that is the human body. A simple push can be used so that a body will naturally react in a way that would disturb its balance. If you study chinese culture Qi was a catch all term for everything from "life force" to motion, inertia, and energy.

  • what happened? qi happened?

  • Hope I can still get around that well at his age!

  • "The greatest grandmasters made the Way, look easy, simple. How is this possible? Because the wisdom already resides within us. We have but to discover it ourselves."

  • that's the master showing them how to use the arms position to "push" , but due to the age of the old master , the young ones won't really put too much effort in against the old master , and also they try to follow the moving flow to feel how these skill works to others if they use it in full power ,thats why when they do it , u may think if it's fake

  • what is he doing?

  • the old guy reminds me of Yoda when we first saw him in Empire Strikes back!

(funny, we don't see "old sifu" types on the Jedi Council, LOL!)

  • 1:12 "You know what I mean".

  • Can someone translate what the old man is saying? I would really appreciate that. :-)

  • taiji at the highest stage is the work of the mind never the body nor the energy

  • I have meet teachers like that one and believe it this is nothing in what they can really do.

  • what is he saying?

  • -.-

how many of u ppl can speak chinese?

im listening to the old guy talking right now and his voice is speaking in such a fake way

look at the ppl holding him

    before they go "flying" backwards

they literally bend their freakin knees

    this is total bs

there's no azn martial art crap that can do that

  • ever seen a chi video that did not look fake? how can you film something you cant see? the guy is 94 and walking and talking, that alone says quite a bit about the positive effects his practice has given him.

  • @SuperKixxx The problem is not with the videos, the problem is with the people who want to see "mystical energies" everywhere. The old man has just mastered the mechanics of the body as used it to push people around. It's nothing supernatural.

BTW I am able to use a lot more mystical energy. It can kill at touch and allows me to move huge loads without touching them. It flows along the wires. It's called electricity. Now THAT'S mysterious! Not some chinese granny.

  • @SuperKixxx I agree. Not many people who are that age are still phisically active. At least not here in the states, where most senior citizens are put in a home before thy're 75. Its something to be said about these old masters and others who practice Chi and truely understand it. For the most part, their health is extrordinary. My Sifu claims to know Chi, he is 63 and even with minor arthritis in his knee, he still out does the 20 and 30 yr olds. its Amazing

  • @SuperKixxx

you may not be able to film something you can't see but you CAN film his students being total suckers....and for being 94...I live in okinawa, and people commonly live to be over 94 and still active so don't be surprised at that......

    this is total crap.....

  • @rushforce33 great point - you are correct. I think this guy is just senile and they are trying to make him feel better.

  • @Bzdi138

this guy is clearly demonstrating and explaining classic bagua theory.

    it works really well.

now, yes, these guys are being friendly.

but ive talked with people who have crossed hands with him, and he's super strong, and he can move people around in a pretty non normal way.

and he's not senile at all, at least when this was taken.

he's a 94 yr old teaching some serious good stuff.

so sorry you arent able to understand and appreciate elders.

    .

  • @richardshapiroII nothing against bagua but this sucked plain and simple. I appreciate elders fine but something was terribly amiss here. He either never was a martial artist or he is simply too old or unable to do any moves. It sucked - there is no way around it.

  • @Bzdi138 Since you're obviously under-age, and never did any martial art whatsoever, I'll take it upon myself to educate you a little bit: Real martial arts are about killing or KOing your opponent, not flipping saltos and cartwheels like little girls! It's also about functional strength and conditioning, which is what you see demonstrated here. Grow up, or at least do your research before you start talking smack and making an ass of yourself!
