if death didnt exist in animals, why would the Lord God say in the bible, the day you eat from this tree you will surely die, implying that Adam and eve have seen death before, this would be impossible because sin and death didnt come to the earth until Adam and eve ate the fruit

@zipitup75 most animals/mammals understand what death means rather they've seen it or not. if i give a newborn the idea it was going to die it would surely understand, it would be afraid. it wasnt that sin and death didnt come to earth until they ate the fruit, satan was already on earth how do you think eve ate the fruit?

What about animals like Salmon who die after they spawn? Or flys that make webs to catch prey?
