Jim power is everywhere. I only played the SNES version. Also have the actraul cartage. Might as well make the other Jim power games my main project. Wow.
Hello, i'm searching about emulator to play this game. I want to make an adaptation on amstrad cpc 6128+ so to rip sprites i'm searching emulator. I try some emulator but no one are able to run this game... Please help me...
The Amiga Megadrive and Snes versions, though graphically brilliant with tonnes of color and multi layered parralax scrolling made for some nice eye candy i actually preferred the Atari St version becos it had a less colorful easier on the eye play field.
This game is so easy compared to the other versions. No dizzying backwards-scrolling backgrounds as on the SNES. Enemies die after just a few hits. Jim jumps twice as high. Droplets fall slower...

damn the intro takes freaking long... Watching the same stuff for about 7 a 8 minutes... Can't you cut it out or something? And reupload the longplay? :P
@Lenriak you have to realize that Pc engine is a 8-bit system, which can only display one background at a time. So what developers provided here is excellent for the system.
@123doomdoom I know its an 8-bit system the game is running on, the graphics don't bother me at all. They look nice, I'll ignore the fact I could have done a slightly better job on the intros artwork back in the day and a much better job now :)
Its mostly:
1- the boss battles, which are joke on the Amiga version, but seem almost pointless here. They don't even seem like a threat. :D
2- Jumping still looks funny to me.
I just prefer the amiga version more to this but wish it had this music.
PC ENGINE HAS LOTS OF BEAUTIFUL GAMES BUT AMIGA HAS BETER INTRO MUSIC AND GRAPHICS IN THIS GAME.CERTAINLY SURE.
ITS JUST A FACT.

Well, gameplay looks pretty bad in this game but there's certainly no denying that the soundtrack is badass.

1rst level music sounds like a shameless rip off of Ys 3 underground volcano theme and Ys 3 came before this.

@123doomdoom I at least can't blame Chris Hülsbeck and his incredibly awesome composing career for a minor detail like that.

Thats the whole point of a longplay - to NOT cut off good music or other nice things :)
Is it that hard to just skip foward?

Music that starts att 33:25 IS AMAZING

wow, this really does make the amiga version seem stunning. Apart from the music this is even more awesome than the amigas excellent music.
Love the floating down from big jumps thing, thats ridiculous.
