This is so not Khmer tradition. Rap came from the US, specifically Black America-- why would they want to incorporate the West with Khmer tradition? It's a wash for real Khmer tradition. People would think Khmer don't have their own traditions and customs-- is that why the Thais think Khmer copied them, instead of the other way around? Khmer tend to forget who they are and allowed foreign influence wash over them easily, we've seen this time and time again, historically speaking. It is sad!
