Keep trying to surf it mate! You don't asked to be saved. I know they have to turn out. Love the way your being British about pushing the boundaries. Live the Jester Challenge lifestyle.
Fair play! Go for it mate, but I think you've used up all your rescues. No more wasting the charities money on your stupidity. I'm sure you'd make the swim to shore.... And your boat should be sold at auction with the proceeds going to the RNLI.
I saw him being saved again!!!! Yesterday! This time a surfer had to paddle about 200m to help right the boat before it got smashed into the rocks at Great Western. So nearly got taken out by a big set.
Funny or not it was irresponsible to sail into the surf like that. He did the same thing at Lusty Glaze a couple of years back and narrowly missed getting killed then, along with a younger lad who was crewing for him. I'm all for sailing in arduous conditions but that was just naive.
and george yeah there is a funny side but remember he never called for help and yeah he was stupid(maybe) but everyone wants to be the best and push themselfs to the limits..... and captain calamity aka glenn... i love you never stop living the dream.....nelly
digitalw what a twat you are i think you best stay at home and watch your fav upskirt asian vids when you have the balls to go out and do some extreme sailing then go and have a go . i think you must sit at home in your inland home and not have a life. and fellovergen are you another couch surfer that has never left the frontroom you guys should get a pair of balls and try this.
"I'm very comfortable in the water. That's where I belong - I'm a water man." "It's like a nanny state in the water. Capsizing a catamaran is all part of performance sailing. Like any extreme sport, there's an element of risk," he said.

@da7bentley I struggle to feel sorry people who do stupid things. Will you coming down for the beach clean.... or will you be too busy watching your 'favourite' Asian upskirt videos.
@georgethekook He wasn;t injured atleast and if you read the background to 'Captain Calamity' in Newquay there is kind of a funny side to the whole thing :)
what an idiot. hope you get impaled by the mast next time.

What was he doing sitting sideways in the surf? Straight in, straight out with plenty of speed is my rule.
