  • You have so many sticks! Can I Have one???

  • That's some collection Man. Wonderful. I have a collection of One.

  • wood choice has no effect at all on Stick tone. None at all.

  • That subject is an ongoing debate.I tend to agree with you.

  • Considering the fact that Chapman Sticks cost some serious coin,AND to own 13 Sticks, tells you are rich and single!HaHa!Personaly,I can't afford A Stick, but I can afford aKrappy Touchstlye.Have you checked out KrappyGuitars?

  • Thanks for the incredible tour! Fully enjoyed the presentation.

  • You State that they have produced 10,000 Sticks since 1974.

They have not reached serial number 6000

    yet as of August 2008.

  • the re-started the serial numbers in 1989, they where up to about 3000 when they started over, so 3,000 plus now serial number 6800 is at about 10,000....Frank

  • Thanks for Clarifying this Frank.

Does that mean that there are around

3000 Sticks with the Same Serial Number?

  • no the first Stick in 1974 was serail number 100 then the went in numerical order until they hit about 3000 in 1989 and then they starter over starting with 001 and then up again...Frank

  • I have an early 80's Stick that has the Same Serial number as my 90's Stick...

  • Man....do you really need 13 Sticks?

  • That was the most informative rundown of the different types of sticks and pickups I've ever seen. I wish they'd put up something similar on the Chapman Stick site!

I've been a fan of sticks for many years, and just saw Tony Levin playing one two weekends ago at Nearfest. Bravo, Frank, and keep on stickin'!

  • In which film is a stick played

  • Dune

  • indeed

  • Can I come over and play? :-) Great Stuff!

  • Hey Frank, I used to judge you by your playing style, which wasn't totally mindbogglingly awesome, but now I regret it, and I hope you accept my apology, because it is now that I learn, that I respect you for your love for music and this wonderful instrument, and not to what extent you can live that love by playing it ;)
