  • ..and on Rickenbacker 4000 series bass, Chris Squire. Yes!

  • YES is JON ANDERSON !!!!!!

  • YES!!!!!!! SEQUENCE2

  • Yikes, they're all so young (even though the band - at this point in their history - had already existed for 15-16 years)! Anyway, I caught them on this tour near Chicago at the now-defunct Poplar Creek Music Theater. What a show and what a summer!

  • Shredmaster100, Page used a modified Dan Electro when in the studio recording " Kashmir ".

  • Shredmaster100, I've oft wondered about that, but hey It's Steve Howe!! Is that an EC-175? And I do know he has used the same Guitar for 20-30 years, as in SRV & Rory Gallagher.

  • Great video.

  • I'm sorry but I'm enamored by the close ups of Trevors guitar. Trevor, thanks for making that sing!!

  • This concert/performance in Germany clearly shows just how amazing Jon was when he was younger and had all of his range. Beniot is a young man and he does not even come close to singing 90125 material as Jon did for this concert.

Some Yes fans discount 90125 because it did so well on the charts and sold millions of records. What they choose to ignore is that 90125 does not sound like any major band or record that was popular during the early 80's and it got a tremendous lift from MTV

  • @neechee5150 Exactly! They successfully incorporated a few pop elements from the 80's (no doubt on that) into their Prog line, but they did it in a way the product didn't sound ordinary or of a lesser quality compared to their earlier works.

I was a kid when this line up started (9 yrs old), and was my first concert ever (w/ my parents, hard core fans) and they now accept, that if I wouldn't have liked this era of the band as much as I did, they would have deserted them after Drama.

  • not the same without steve playing guitar and this guys playing a strat blastheme

  • @shredmaster100 Steve Howe has played Fender Strats & Teles both live & in the studio. Steve & well as Trevor can afford to use what ever instrument/tool that they feel suits their needs. Jimmy Page is most always thought to be a Les Paul man, but some of his best& most famous work was played on a Telecaster.

Trevor Rabin is an extremely talented musician, song writer, producer, composer, arranger & guitar player. He is also a good singer. As such, he does not have many peers

  • my memorys going of course steve uses a telecaster custom and a strat sometimes but i like his gibson the most because ive never seen any one else take a guitar that was made for jazz and play hard rock music on it and sound as good as led zeppelin steve i salute u m8

  • I saw them on this tour. The concert was in Nashville, and they were even wearing the same clothes. I had front-row seats and it was INCREDIBLE. Their technical ability blew me away... no lip-synching or pre-recorded background music. Chris Squire's big solo was perfect. JA kept smiling at me! It was the first concert I had ever been to that a laser show, too. What a wonderful college memory!

  • Sir Jon's stagecraft is reyond reproach.

  • So perfect nice yes for live heerugowaard 2009 november

  • So perfect nice

  • get chills everytime i listen......

  • This is great on acid

  • @mycatisromeo As is all Yes music. :D

  • Such a sparkling, beautiful song. Always makes my day.

  • magnifico!!!dejaria de ser yes

  • Trevor reignited the legend that is YES.

  • @silat13 Indubitably!

  • @silat13 indeed he did! I remember having that cassette when it first came out...as a guitarist myself trevor was a hero of mine and YES was one of my favorite bands and still is of all time!

  • @232323C lol you have to explain what a cassette is to most YouTubers:)

  • YES.....IT CAN HAPPEN 2 every1!!!!!

  • Fantastic.

  • Is there a DVD of this?

  • Thank You for posting these clips of Yes in Dortmund. I was at this concert (I was 16 way back then) and was always searching for the vid that was broadcasted at Rockpop. I lost it long time ago, now, once again, I can enjoy it!

    Great!

  • Seen Yes in 1984 in Phoenix and for some reason they were at there absolute best in 1984.....I've watched many other videos and the 1984 performances were perfect...

90125 had just came out and they were fresh...maybe excited about their resurgence

  • Thank you mellostar for these excellent you tubes. They are obviously new and are of incredibly high quality. I look forward to viewing the rest.
