I found this amusing. While Thailand & Laos had common linguistics & cultural developments, Thai's more liberalized women had long discarded the "royal" traditional dressing style, from the long-scarf-like fabric crossing from one side of the body to the other, to the silken "sinn" (modernized for safety/fashion reasons, into a long-skirt-like form). But in Laos today, women still wear those on a daily basis; but Laos is of course too poor to leverage their retention of truer cultural traits.

Very classy video which portrays the passenger experience on Thai Air. Next month I will fly from San Francisco to Los Angeles and then to BKK on Thai. If there is one airlines I enjoy most for an 18 hour flight it is Thai.
