WCW just looked like a bunch a guys, ego'd up, chillin in the ring not really attempting to work.
Funny how so many wrestlers from WWF had so many bad things to say about the Kliq, and then WCW has Hall and Nash implement the Kliq attitude, mannerisms, and even hand signals into the NWO and make a historic run at the top...

Ultimate Warrior has only lost 4 televised matches - to Andre The Giant in in 10 second squash match that Andre won with just two moves, UW lost the world title to Sgt Slaughter, to Macho King in a cage match, and Hollywood at Halloween Havoc.

Bret is very technical but Sting has more speed. So it's a speed vs technical match. But I prefer Bret's Sharpshooter than Sting's Scorpion Deathlock. Sharpshooter looks more effective.

WWE used to consistently have sold out raw is war shows, with like 18,000 + fans, with even more at pay-per-view. WCW, by comparison, had a mere 6,000 people at the final Bash at the Beach.
ALL of these people are NWO, Nash, Hall, Sting, Luger, and others were in Wolfpac, and Hulk, Bret Hart, and others were in Hollywood NwO, even though it was settled by the "Fingerpoke of Doom"
wolfpac was worst concept, wcw had the edge early in monday night war butt you can only watch so much of flair, hogan, luger, nash, hall, they never developed new talent very few pushes for the young guys
Sorry to disappoint you, but the Sharpshooter and the Scorpion Deathlock are seriously the same move. Both moves require the user to step between the legs to one side of the body, wrap the opponent's legs around the user's leg, and then flip the opponent on his/her belly by stepping over the body. The user then has a seated position, or a leaning stance to compress the lower back.
Yeah... if you are as simple minded as you are then they are both the same move... but if you ask either of the 2 men who apply them...they are different. There is not much of a difference, and someone should not be bashed for not knowing exactly what it is. First of all they insert opposite legs and turn they're oppenents opposite ways. Secondly Stings holds his opponents feet, Bret holds a foot under his pit as well as one of his opponents knees applying more pressure. Your welcome.

lex luger was verry popular in the midwest region seeing that he was from chicago people use to always wear his shirts in kansas city and i would wonder why because lex wasnt all that of a big star but had raw abilty and an oustanding body i found out they loved him because he was from the midwest and back then that meant alot
nwo was good for a while but after a while it just got boring . it was the same story repaeted every week . wcw had no follow up to that. personally i think thats what caused the wcw to go down.
WCW obviously didn't have Lex's best interests in mind when they decided to change his ring attire to street clothes like a t-shirt and jeans or just jeans like this match. And to make matters worse they /still/ try to sell his world class physique. NWO was good for a few wrestlers like Hall, Nash, Hogan, Bagwell, Steiner, but for the rest it was basically a gimmick killer. Before it there were colorful personas, and afterwards everyone was just a "member of the NWO" and had similar music.
During this time, Luger wore the kind of ring outfits a guy like Mick Foley or the Sandman would wear to the ring. It fit him about as well as Bastion Booger's ringwear did. And the latter was a purposeful comedy character to find the absolutely worst outfit for a fat guy.
Yeah... they were going with what was working for the WWF at the time. All the gimmicks were out the window over there to for the most part... everyone became a heel...it's just that some heels were liked and some were not.

LOL....I really wish Bobby Hennan was still commentating. I agree as far as the finishes go. It would be better to have clear cut winners, but in the case of WCW at this time, the commentators made the heels to sound like cowards so it seemed impossible for them to win anyway. I think this is why TNA sort of takes the idea of there being no true bad guys, because that way everything seems more level.

Both moves require the user to step between the legs to one side of the body, wrap the opponent's legs around the user's leg, and then flip the opponent on his/her belly by stepping over the body. The user then has a seated position, or a leaning stance to compress the lower back.

Yeah... if you are as simple minded as you are then they are both the same move... but if you ask either of the 2 men who apply them...they are different. There is not much of a difference, and someone should not be bashed for not knowing exactly what it is. First of all they insert opposite legs and turn they're oppenents opposite ways. Secondly Stings holds his opponents feet, Bret holds a foot under his pit as well as one of his opponents knees applying more pressure. Your welcome.

Seriously, I think you are overthinking it. Comparing the Sharpshooter with the Scorpion Deathlock is like comparing two piledrivers. How a wrestler holds a body part, or what direction they turn, really doesn't serve to distinguish the two from each other, but if you want to say that the moves are different, then you are entitled to your opinion. Likewise, I am entitled to my opinion.

lex luger was verry popular in the midwest region seeing that he was from chicago people use to always wear his shirts in kansas city and i would wonder why because lex wasnt all that of a big star but had raw abilty and an oustanding body i found out they loved him because he was from the midwest and back then that meant alot

WCW obviously didn't have Lex's best interests in mind when they decided to change his ring attire to street clothes like a t-shirt and jeans or just jeans like this match. And to make matters worse they /still/ try to sell his world class physique. NWO was good for a few wrestlers like Hall, Nash, Hogan, Bagwell, Steiner, but for the rest it was basically a gimmick killer. Before it there were colorful personas, and afterwards everyone was just a "member of the NWO" and had similar music.

During this time, Luger wore the kind of ring outfits a guy like Mick Foley or the Sandman would wear to the ring. It fit him about as well as Bastion Booger's ringwear did. And the latter was a purposeful comedy character to find the absolutely worst outfit for a fat guy.

LOL....I really wish Bobby Hennan was still commentating. I agree as far as the finishes go. It would be better to have clear cut winners, but in the case of WCW at this time, the commentators made the heels to sound like cowards so it seemed impossible for them to win anyway. I think this is why TNA sort of takes the idea of there being no true bad guys, because that way everything seems more level.
