I have an all steel welded spud gun. I use ether and oxygen to fire the spuds they can go as far a 350-400 yards but sometimes i load to hot and they dont hold together

dont use hairspray its weak as poop, other than propane and butane, i recommend acrylic sealer, and your barrel is a bit too short, anyway nice vid

@Idoducks hair sprays ok but it leaves nasty residue, I use gasoline in an atomizer, but mine has a 4" chamber (8" long) with a 2" barrel 4 feet long. Fire's a walnut around 400 yards, potatos are to soft, they turn to mush. anyway, mines not a toy though, its been tested with hard metal projectiles going through 8 to 12 inches of 3/4" plywood pancaked together :-\ (was original for scaring off animals on friends farm

What a shitty electrical design.. if I had a tazer I would rip it apart.. If you want power then use oxygen and propane.. I never tried it, but oxygen and ether might be even more powerfull.. my vids were not as good, but my cannons shot through plywood.. and shot golfballs...

Heres some advice. Instead of using hairspray or deodorant for propellant, put some plain ole gasoline in a spray bottle. one squirt of that in the chamber and kaboom! you will never misfire. none of this click click click click click boom stuff. With gasoline its like click bang!

Depends butane or the lighter fluid? If you do the lighter fluid it would surely light the avc or pvc on fire. Butane might be too strong and could cause an explosion. My opinion is just go buy a can of hairspray it's cheaper where I live

i use a tad of starter fluid. good thing about it is that if ur using a lighter ignitor.. and starter fluid is that if u use too much starter fluid it wont ignite. i use diesel and gasoline ignitor. because diesel takes more to ignite too. its all in the mix. hope i helped some people out. i have a potato cannon and a grape cannon
