What I love about that tower is that it was built by CANADIANS!!! Not some German or American company. ITS ALL CANADIAN!!! Most of the times, its the Germans that built fancy towers for other nations. Dubai for example is built by only Germans, few English and Americans. I wouldn't have any pride if everything my nations has, was built by others. Toronto is to 95% made in CANADA with some help from other nations,

I wonder what time of the year this was taken.. not all the time does it do crazy flashes like that. Its usually 1-2 standard colours. However, whenever there are important social or cultural events in the city, sometimes the CN Tower will reflect it with specific colours.

The "Rogers Centre" is a great addition as well

I love the CN Tower with the led's on it. I could watch it all night. I think I'll go back one more time this summer. I like to visit at night, so I can see the whole city light up. If anyone lives in the Golden Horseshoe area and has never been to the CN Tower, just go. You should do it at least once in your lifetime. It's absolutely spectacular.

umm no.. they aren't.. they are acutally just a bunch of small HBLEDs (not those crappy 3/5/8/10mm things) which are no more than 1 inch wide.. The acutally light emitting part is only about 1mmx1mm..

The Tower is lite up everynight, but the show is not every night, there is a schedule which i think is on their website. I especially love when its lite up for st. paddys day, its all green! I can see the tower from my bedroom window.

If we replace all the old lights with new LED Light Bulbs we could have more light with less electricity consumption. The trade off though is if the bulbs are outside in the winter they will need defrosting wires that heat up when the temperatures dip below 0 Celsius.

Yeah they're new, since it was built in 76 I think, it only had like a couple lights. I think its been lit for about a year now, actually at first there was opposition to it. Some said it was too tacky like Vegas which is something alot of Canadian despise. But I guess thats why Canada is a typically modest nation.
