dead on, Brutus. It's interesting to see how the control freak sociopath takes the idea of selective breeding to such an extreme that it ceases to be beneficial. Those at the top are obsessed with this, and they believe themselves superior. They look down on everyone else as being so lowly that the thought of having offspring with them is utterly unthinkable. Meanwhile their inbred children are dying left and right, but the ones that live go on to be kings.
Interesting thoughts here, and through all the rambling, I can see your points. I might add something. If many atheists are right, religious experiences are purely mental, perhaps even a result of mental illness. Do some rulers actuall have religious experiences that confirm in their own minds being god kings or talking to a god figure (like George Bush Jr.)? Religioun could not be an intentional opiat of the masses so much as something the ruling class really believs.
'Do some rulers actually have religious experiences...' Well yes maybe we could ask GW, though I think that was just a replacfement for his drug and drink habit! I think that Religion is often used by leaders to control and manipulate the mass, especially those of the pyramid structure. I wouldn't say the religious belief itself is a form of madness, more a case of laziness of the mind, but then we must state what is true madness.
Mankind is not of that level of familiarity with genetics to judge it. Good intentions lead to ass;)) C'mon, people can't abstain from fast-food -- obesity;) It's like to jump down the palm-tree and solve P=NP right away;))
I do not oppose any kinds of genetical experiments, even if selection causes a mental decease in 'royal families' and etc. it is a chance for a new ones to come. Circle of life.
BTW all geniouses had mental prolems, so fuk it, let's go insane;)))
Yes, ABBEY NORMAL is not so bad in a NORMAL world, but we should never forget the fine lines that exist. Play with fire by all means but take precautions and always keep all possible risk in mind, before risking the farm.
Just to be sure, I am not pro eugenics. But I would just like to point out that no one is perfect.
We can all judge and be judge, but when it comes to what we are rather than what we do then no one has the right to judge, very interesting link that you sent thank you, I will put it in the more info part ;-))
I dont like focusing on the brain as the base of everything Menmtal so to speak, I think its the Nervous system as a whole, for example some forms of Schizophrenia are triggered or cuased by certain stresses on the nervous system.
I agree there is still a lot to know. I have in fact stated in part one that Schizophrenia is a syndrome which has various causes, one of which may well be genetic. The point here is that it is silly to start saying that an elite class can choose the correct model for humanity. (please see more info)

Too much selective breeding, of a particular trait, creates a Shallow Gene Pool and thus more genetic diseases... it becomes in-breeding.

Exactly ;-)). those dog of my grandmother are a good example. The of course there is the leopard.

Biological Science has proven that Gene DIVERSITY is far more important to the development of a successful species than is Selective Breeding.
It's similar to the difference between and Specialists and Generalists.
When the environment changes the first breeds to die are the Specialists while the Generalists strive.
