  • Was Hercules a heel here, or a face?

  • How did they explain Hercules coming down to Roma's defense?

  • This was fantastic thinking by the creative team. Hercules and Roma were going absolutely nowhere as singles but, as a tag team, they had great chemistry. I don't understand why they didn't have more success. They used to get great pops at MSG despite being heels.

  • i want to go to the events centre!!!

  • I agree with everyone here that Power and Glory should have definetly been tag team champions instead of the nasty boys, Power and Glory had the best tag team finisher in wrestling history

  • @Leshog70 I didnt really rate the Nasty Boys. I thought Power and Glory had the look and skills to be credible champions. And Hercules really deserved a title run of some sort

  • @Leshog70 thank you! for years I have been saying that the Power Plex was simply awesome. At Survivor Series 90, when they hit Hogan with it, that was the greatest move ever!

  • @marshallsimon,jim powers became the best jobber in wwf history.lol!

  • WWF was sooooo much better than WWE.

better stories, better acting, better athletes, better characters, better moves,

    JUST PLAIN BETTER.

  • "WHAT IS GOING ON?" Ah, ol' kayfabe clueless Vince.

  • Paul Roma was WAAAAAAY overrated in my opinion. Hercules Hernandez had always been a solid competitor but Roma was a wanna-be with a superstar sized attittude but gave minimal effort.

  • There was so much talent in the 80's and early 90's in the tag team division.

Demolition, hart foundation, british bulldogs, killer bees, rockers, legion of doom. Power and Glory were underrated.

  • What happen to Jim Powers that year?

  • @marshallsimon the wwf put him as a jobber

  • @hectorthafin Oh man, Thats harsh. No wonder he went to WCW and Team up with Tom Zenk.

  • ahh you pissed them off now!!!!!!!

  • @KOOPSTA26 Wrestling isn't the same anymore. These were the glory days IMO.

  • Roma had a shitty attitude and that kept them down..Herc was a good friend of mine and Ive heard through numerous wrestlers that Roma was an ass to deal with. Great athlete but bad attitude.

  • @kingpindavemartin I'm not that surprised about Roma's attitude. I saw the Horsmen dvd and I wanted to smack him in his face for what he said about Flair & AA. I mean any young wrestler who was picked to work with the Horsemen should feel lucky and want to learn from them. Sounds like he was too damn spoiled. PS I'm sorry about the loss of your friend. He may not have been on Flair or Steamboat's level but he was great to watch and I thought he something as Power & Glory.

  • wheres the match??

  • I think Paul Roma just had a match against Dino Bravo before this "nonsense" took place. I just think it was the wrong time to make Hercules a heel again.

  • AWESOME!!!! I have been looking for this. This was the very first piece of professional wrestling I had ever watched, excluding Roma's match right before this happened! Thanks!!!

  • Is it just me or do the angles seem a lot more believable back then compared to today's crap?

  • yes mt. much more believeable

  • they were more believable back then. now, its hard to believe the storylines and support some wrestlers, especially the ones that get booed despite bein face

  • Power and Glory have to go down as the most underated team that should have been champions. If it wasn't for the Nasty Boys debut in 1991 I could see P&G winning the belts from the Hart Foundation.

  • i absolutely agree with you!

  • @3countdcg No doubt about it, perfect combination of skill sets, P&G wasn't pushed nearly enough, got about 3 or 4 month push and after they were done with the rockers they pretty much just jobbed out til they broke up.

  • @3countdcg 1. Rockers beat Harts. 2. Power and Glory beat Rockers. That was the story

  • @3countdcg THey had a great Finisher

  • @KHLB516

    powerplex hell yeah!!!!

  • @3countdcg You're right. Power & Glory were a neglected tag-team.

  • @3countdcg couldnt agree with you more, they were the best

  • @3countdcg omg so agreed!!! Wrestlemania 7 had some of the worst booking of all time. shouldve been the nasty's in a squash against Lod, Shouldve been power and glory winning the belts from the harts and Rude shouldve beaten the warrior at summerslam previously and shouldve been defending (dropping) the the title to hogan ( we all know hogan would never put rude over lol) and it would be a great story line that Rude had beaten the worrior for both the IC and world titles.
